if any traders would like to give me a rough estimate for an engine rebuild and fitting new tubs they can do so by pm im looking into this now for the near future, i want an engine rebuild as mine now has 130 000 on it and tghe tubs are starting to smoke i will supply the tubs, and the rebuild will be back to stock, not wanting any hooge power amounts, as i would like to keep it everyday drivable will aslo want the neccasery engine out work done, ie: detsensor loom, 02 sensores and so on this wont be done till around the end of the year, so just a rough estimate so i can see what my saving target is aslo any advice on an engine rebuild would be mostly appreciated pm me please thanx Allan

the best way to get the most out of an auto is to bin the auto and get a manual in there

cheers legrath, ive checked the tps and set it at the right setting, also how easy is it to do the clutch idler bearing probably a box out job is it

well now you mention it, if i dissconect the tps whilst the engine is running leave it for a minute i get a clicking noise from down by the side of the battery i then connect it and the car runs finew for about 50 miles then slowly starts to run shite again but also does this if i do the same with maf

the two quotes look like the difference between uk cars and import cars like hellraiser said uk cars are classed as 300zx and import are classed as fairlady all uk cars are long wheel base (2+2) and only come as twin turbo and are all targa roofed jap cars come as short wheel base (swb) come as non turbo and twin turbo, they also come as targa roof and non targa (slicktop) and also a convertable HTH
