see now i disagree, i will please someone if i like to or if i dont mind, but i dont do it just to keep others happy

im a great beliver in keeping a roof over ya head

people hate me for simply saying no, at the end of the day, i have bills to pay, and i look after no1 (me), why make myself unhappy/uncomfortable to please others

i hope ya engine has enough power to blow those B&Q plant pots off the end of ya exhaust

are you the type of person that cant say no just to keep people happy, just had a guy on the phone saying he is sorry for not paying his rent last week as he is having probs with the ex (actually genuine), his real intention for the phone call was to ask if he could miss this weeks rent as he needs to buy one of his kids a prezzie for his bday (which again is genuine) i told him NO!!!, he has missed one week and he has to pay double this week, he told me i was a coont, i told him to pay his way or fook off, then he said cant believe you are stopping me from buying my son a prezzie for his bday im not stopping him buying a prezzie, im getting the money in to pay the bills, its only £50 FFS, if every tennant had a sob story that i bowed down to i wouldnt get any cash in, you have to be able to say no i also do this with family and friends, i dont do anything that i dont want to-to make other people feel better, i may sound selfish but ive seen people who give in and say yes to please others and they always tell me they are sick of it does anyone else make themselves unhappy to please others??????

yeah youve got me, but im not as bad as i used to be lol, and i do try not to drink during the week if ive had a heavy weekend

he is gonna get the job of fitting my fire and fireplace, it was a lot of money so want some sort of gaurentee with it

job was done by a reputable company, as a proper job, not fiddle job, got full gas certificate and full check

not during the week i aint lol, although i drink that much on a weekend im prob still pissed from it now lol

wouldnt be the first time lol

yeah but i was pissed then lol, and now ive just paid someone to do something that i used to do lol

just paid someone to fit my combi boiler got a brand new ideal mini boiler for £150 (thank god for the credit crunch lol) then paid a qaulified gas engineer to remove my ack boiler and elson tank from the loft, alter all pipe work and fit my combi for the grand total of £400 i priced the bits and the price of hire for the core drill to drill the hole for the flue and it came to £320, so basically i got a combi fitted for £80 not worth getting my hands dirty lol so its now official, i am now a property manager/handyman no more plumbing love jobs for the family lol
