get to your local motor parts store and see if they have anything, i know plumbers putty (plumbers mate) stays soft and sticky not sure if it will do the job though

double sided sticky pads would do the trick, or if ya dont want to get it off again, liquid nails would do the trick

maybe worth investing in some new nuts bud, i had a prob where the front nuts kept coming loose no matter how tight they were, got new nuts with my rota's and they have been fine ever since
