when being pulled by police i was told by an officer the best way to deal with it is to get out ouf your car, stand at the back of yours and infront of his, puts the police at ease, was told they dont know what to expect when approach a car so they are always wary and on edge, also just be polite, you got pulled for a reason, worked for me glad you got off lightly mate
