  2. the ecu from the auto will be fine on the manual, mines been converted and runs fine off the auto ecu
  3. i have a small motorbike size number plate on the front, its the same size width as the old mounting holes where the import plate was... still slightly illegal in plate size, but the letters are the correct size and spacing
  4. hi just checking what oil pressure most peoples zed's run, mines a n/a, on the gauge on the dash, from cold mine reads just over 4 then as the engine gets hot drops around to under 2, at 3k revs that is.
  5. mine is 1994 import, i think it maybe in fog light, i do have a switch for front fogs
  6. hello, had a quick look, do u take the whole unit out from the front? ive seen a couple of phillips screws in there but thought id ask before i broke anything! im just changing the bulbs! cheers
  7. yeah i swear the wheels on my car are around et40 they are o.z cronos old skool ones, and i reckon i could just about get a fag paper in between the caliper and the spokes of the alloy!. also my wheels sit right in the arch and look stupid!
  8. hi im looking at some new wheels for my 300zx there are loads of 5x114's about but ive been told to get a et30 offset but if i found some around et40 anybody fitted these before without problems? i have a n/a model but have turbo brakes fitted. cheers
  9. mine has a manual conversion, in your second picture, im almost certain my reverse light or neutral one is connected up to the bigger grey connector to the far left of the second picture, if this helps i have a wire running from this connector under the bonnet to the gearbox
  10. hi, having a stage 1 chip socketed in tomorrow, ill admit its a £50 ebay chip, (not a £15 one) i know the map on these chips is proberly just a copied map from somebody elses work. but do they make a difference on the n/a? im running induction kit, stainless headers, stainless decats, and stainless mongoose centre and rear boxes, the cars already been delimited. thanks

  12. a few mods and getting cleaner, new rear lights, clear side repeaters, and decat system now on, next week: ecu chip, stillen splitter, vented front panel!, (maybe new wheels!)
  13. Just got the conzult software and serial lead from ebay and its only the freeware!, looks like a good piece of software, where can i get the full version or lite version from? only need the software as have the lead cheers
  14. just looked on stillen site, they do a bottom lip repair piece that goes over the top around $150.
  15. my bumper, the bottom left is cracked and has some wood behind it holding it together!
  16. Hi my front splitter on bottom of bumper is quite damaged and looks like fibreglass. Id like to change this, does this part unbolt, so i can change it, or a aftermarket one available? cheers

Hello been on here a week or so, very good forum with good help, Just got my fairlady z n/a, auto now a manual!, got it off a bloke on here!, heres a few pics of her: now modding her and tidying her up clear rear lenses, front mount intercooler style induction box, decats and chip coming this week!
  18. Hi, recently brought a n/a fairlady z, 1994 model which was just converted to manual from auto. Just wondering if the previous owner changed the ecu to a manual one, or if the auto engine ecu will work one as it is, Just looking at chips for the ecu and they clearly state manual or auto. cheers for help, ill try get some numbers from old ecu today
  19. all sorted now, tee'd into the brake servo hose and now have a nice soft pedal, thanks to all who helped! My foot feels alot better today, and dont mind crawling in traffic now!

  21. yeah, checked all the gearbox mounts they all look ok, one is that the vibrations seem to quieten a bit when the car is warmer

Hi, im just curing a vibration problem on my fairlady lwb non turbo, Im almost sure its a prop problem, the conversion is: Car was a auto, converted using a tt box, it runs a n/a diff and n/a rear prop, with front prop from the tt, but i get a vibration, the centre bearing is new!. Im thinking to ditch the whole lot and buy a one piece prop but will this be available to buy with my tt box and n/a diff!, any links would be great, cheers!.
  23. oh right, so really this would work then, t off any vaccum off the inlet manifold to the booster and it should work!. Hope its that easy!
