  1. OK...Thanks for that ;) any idea on differences please? Some further investigation is needed me thinks :duffer:
  2. Anyone please...probably a bit late in the evening to get a result :duffer:
  3. as above?....Im loosing my settings on my AVC-R for :- 1)It looses the rpm limit(example 7000rpm) 2)The boost level display(example 1bar or 2bar) 3)The car select (example 2spd or 6cyl) It does not loose the actual boost setting It does not loose the Duty Cycle Only thing I can think of is that it has been wired to a non permanent live feed. The other possibility is that my alarm "TOAD" is interfeering with it and cutting the power like an immobiliser. Any ideas chapes/chapesses? TA
  4. oh...and by the way... exactly how does the TPS alter/effect the settings/running of the car?
  5. I have done mine now... Readings on TPS via ConZult :- Before : 4.00v After : 4.36v I took my pipes of and checked the butterflies were opening 100%. I had to take the bolt and nut off to get the completely open position and the throttle bodys stopped them opening any further. TBH I havnt noticed any difference but then you wont unless you get it on a rolling road as mentioned above. the TwinTurbo.net site have posts on there mentioning that the standard slight angle on the butterflies is set like that as it works better for air flow on standard/stock motors. But i think opening them right up should help in some microscopic way to improve flow on my modded Z due to the increased air flow with the filter and exhaust system. As for the throttle body bore mod where you put the Z31 bodies on....well...this post:- http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=923328&words=butterfly would suggest that that dont work as they dont fit...Hmmmm..interesting. The only way would be to bore the origionals and fit a larger butterfly. Any more info on any of this anyone? :) CheerZ :duffer:

  10. And me please ;)
  11. Mine did this too. I fitted new sensor and bobs your auntie(if you live in norwich :nelson: ) it worked fine. It played up for quite a while with a dodgy connection...seemed to be plugged onto terminal but was obviously up the shoot internally aswell. Pretty cheap to replace from MJP and if it looks old then might aswell do it anyway just to be safe...or eliminate it.
