  1. I pinched this from somewhere before, think it was Danny from DTA - A'PEXi filters are so-called "dry type" filters meaning the filter media is not soaked in any type of oil. This makes it very easy to clean as all you need to do is run it under a luke warm tap and gently brush any big particles off the wire mesh with a soft brush (don't apply too much pressure as this will most definitely ruin the filter media). Allow the filter to dry out completely and reinstall. The drying out part is very important as you don't want any water droplets to hit the AFM element. DO NOT APPLY ANY TYPE OF FILTER OIL AFTER CLEANING THE FILTER - THIS WILL RUIN IT!
  2. "We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to consider strongly whether the constant and punishing taxation of road users is realistically going to alter any environmental issues when industry and others have a far greater output of greenhouse gases and pollutants, and to bring Britain line with the rest of the world on this issue." Would be good to get a few names on this - http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/pro-cars/ :)

  21. Why oh why oh why do people insist on having pictures in their 'Rides' the size of the moon? what is the point? I know some of you are posh and may have 40" monitors but some of only have little 17 inchers and don't really find looking at a Zed wing mirror all that fun. I'm sure its not just me who gets pissed off with this so could you all resize your pictures to fit a normal computer screen please.

  23. Sorry geezer, I didn't see it ;)
  24. I think it was 2002 when I passed all the tests for South Wales Fire Brigade. 50 of us got in out of 4000-5000 applicants!!! I was kept on the waiting list for a year to start on the recruits course but it was at the time they were having all the pay disputes. After telling me I was in and keeping me waiting for over a year I had a 3 line letter saying 'We currently have no positions available and cannot see any in the for-sable future please apply again'. I was fooking gutted and never reapplied but I have heard that its all been changed now and the fitnest tests are a lot easier. Good luck with it all mate
