If fuel is an issue I wouldn't even consider it if I was you. Running costs can be high and these cars are getting old so invariably things go wrong. If you haven't got spare dough or petrol use is an issue I'd stay well clear.

Knowing what I know now and after having 300's for the past 6 and a half years I'd only buy only buy one thats had a rebuild and it's tubs already done. It'll be cheaper in the long run and save a lot of hassle.

They are fantastic cars and actually have the horsepower that they claim, unlike a lot of Zeds. Superb performance and braking, you will not be disappointed.

I've got a staff and like dannyzx said they are amazing with other animals and people/kids, despite what the press say about them. As you said probably a bit big for what your wanting, mines only 7 and a half months....
