I really hope you get your car sorted without to much fuss but unfortunately this is the problem with buying these cars on the cheap as there is nothing cheap about them. It's false economy, save up and buy one thats had all the work done, full history etc, especially at the prices they are at the moment. I've lost count of the amount of new owners coming on the site saying 'I've just bought a 300ZX as a project, it needs a bit of work but I got it cheap'. Two months down the line they've sold up and are well out of pocket.
