No mate I started at the passager rear

I know how it feels mate, I had my pride and joy (at the time) wrote off by a milk float !!!!!!

Quick update took them apart today and cleaned them put it all back and they are loads better but not 100% which brings me to the next point, after I cleaned and adjusted and replaced and bleed them they are still sh&t ! The pedal still seems abit soft,is this how they are ! or another problem?

Lol no it's not sumthing I plan on doing, after finding about the ecu a friend said some of the them rev up to 8500 ! So I'm the interest of testing I give her some beans, I'm sure it would of gone off the rev limiter if I had let it. So going to catch up with my mate next week and see if his gear can read the ecu and maybe replace it with a john dixon chip

i think our cars must be twins ! mine was running on 5 again this morning but it was the damm injector plugs again, i really need to cut the f*ckers off and put new ones on

i use 97 ron as she seems fine on it and still goes well, would it also of changed the amount of boost?

hey all I was checking fault codes after a misfire and see my ecu has mines on it? misfire was sorted but im after some info on the ecu,it has only the standard boost gauge fitted so i cant tell what boost its putting out.

not far off mine, i like to run 32 in the backs and 30 in the fronts

I sold my car a few weeks ago and was looking around the market to see what was around i had just over £4500 to spend, the choices was a RX8, shabby RX7 or a good 300zx As you might of guessed i went for a 300zx and no regrets its my daily car and already had a few problems but shes worth it. people ask what is it "ive never seen a car like that" others point at it as you drive past because as someone else said you just dont see them. stick with it bud or your miss it when its gone :)

sounds like thats what i may be missing, i had a look on the online manual but cant see the "springy piece" do they come with a new pad set?

is their a service kit they sell for these?

Had the window down today and as i was braking i heard what sounded like the pads and shims moving as i braked? it stops fine and theirs plenty of meat on the pads,do they suffer with the pads slopping about in the cailper as i know some cars do? I plan to take the wheels off the weekend and pull them apart for my own peace of mind. any thoughts?

this is some advice jefftt gave me. simply the cylinders effected have either a spark issue or a fuel issue, check spark with a spare plug sitting on the plenum with the coil pack pluged into it, start engine and see whats happening. If no spark swap coil packs with an adjacent working one, if still no spark go back to the ptu conections. Fuel injectors clean and close up connectors, listen to each one whilst moving the connector, Jeff TT
