Well we bought the Lancer
Cheers guys. Pretty happy with it so far. Especially 45 mpg on a mixed run!! I keep forgetting its got sod all power tho so a couple of times I've gone to overtake & forgotten that its a bit gutless & had to drop it right down & floor it to make it past! So I miss the power of the Lexus (? Lexi?!). But it does look mean which I love, I like a nice masculine face on a car & there is something sharky about this that I like. Eek at the finance but it had to be done. Fingers crossed we both find jobs soon as we qualify so we can get saving for fast cars lol x

Well we bought the Lancer
It's not v fast or exciting but after a lot of discussion (& after throwing a lot of money we don't have on older cars) we bit the bullet & bought an almost new daily driver for the next few years. It's on finance (gulp, I hate having debt) but its still cheaper taking into account all the running costs, than our previous cars. Just need to keep at it at Uni for the next two years (just got 80% & 71% in my exams, yay!) then I can get back into a Zed with any luck!

Anyone else too hot to sleep??
Its really humid! The rain even feels warm. We need another thunderstorm like the one at the weekend to clear the air. Bet the sun comes out tomorrow when I'm back at work in the nursing home, where its about 1000 degrees all year round! Get them glands checked out again Steamiest!

England Italy
And now for a other 30 mins of drab, unexcitng football. Pfft!

Has anyone ever had one of these?
The IS is cool. I can see why it's used for drifting. It does handle superbly. We'll just see. I'd be surprised if we got finance with us both being student nurses but stranger things happen!!

England Italy
My arse is knitting socks watching it! How Italy have not completed those last few shots is anyone's guess!

Ouch
I thought they were supposed to be clamping down on the whole accident claim thing but ultimately we're all legally obliged to keep our cars insured & car insurance is big business so by hook or by crook the buggers are getting our money aren't they?

Has anyone ever had one of these?
Even if I did turn to the dark side & try Swedish again there's no way I'd convince my husband! Lol. I'm sure they are good cars. If we don't buy new then we'll stick with the Lexus. Don't think we'll ever go non Jap again

I cannot bear vulvos!! I think I'm allergic!

red zed
There's a red one in Acklam in Boro, see it in the summer months. It's not a club member, it might be that one?

I'll have a look. If Marc gets refused on finance then we'll consider running 2 cars again possibly & get sommat like a diesel. It's all in the air for now. Just need a car with no issues that's def gonna get us to nursing placements. Managed ok til now as they've been local but I've got a commute at the moment & forthcoming placements are likely to be further afield. This is affordable for us & with such low mileage it's almost brand new

Ouch
You can also understand why you want to punch the person at fault until their eyeballs land on the Tarmac!!!

Ah Steams I know it's gonna be like a roller skate but there's other stuff we need to consider too.

Whats my rights
Another vote for John Lewis, they're a great retailer. And the price match is fab. I got a really good Bosch dishwasher from there years back, price matched so it was about £180 cheaper than rrp!

Ouch
Yup that really boils my pi$$ Roobarb. I've been driving for yonks & fortunately never had any sort of accident but I bet it'll happen at some point & I'll get penalised! Gah, hate insurance companies

Has anyone ever had one of these?
It's looking like a possibility for us. Depends on whether Marc gets approved for finance tho....

Whats my rights
They often look like they are gonna do that. I go in most weeks to sample their massage chairs lol

Whats my rights
Yup Paul C is totally right there. And the item has to be fit for the purpose for which it was sold too. One wouldn't normally expect an electrical item to break 7 months after purchase therefore it's not fit for purpose. Go back to Curry's & tell them they're legally obliged to replace the item & if they refuse start talking really loud. That usually works for me!

Ouch
What pees me off the most is that most insurers now offer as an extra on your policy, cover at an additional premium in case you get hit by an uninsured driver. So not only are these bar stewards pushing prices up by driving uninsured, but in order to fully cover yourself against them you get to pay even more! Car insurance does my bloody box in!!

Ok, youve got a vurtual £20,000. What car are you going to buy?
It'd have to be a Honda NSX for that price bracket

Massive Tits!
Ha ha Al hope you weren't referring to my opposition to the "who has the fittest Mrs comp" on here! I believe it was MrsZed or such like. I found that a bit odd although I'd only been on here a few months at the time (I still think its a bit weird tho ha ha!)
