Found this on ebay. Its a Jasma catback exhaust. I've never heard of Jasma so just wanted to know if its worth the money, or should i wait for something better to come along. Ebay Link Any advice?

Just recently i've noticed a fault with my speedo. It shows completely random speeds and the needle bounces all over the place at times, for example when i started the car last night it was bouncing from 25-35mph while idling, then while driving at around 30 it shows anything from 40-60mph. if i bang on the top of the dash or the plastic cover it makes the needle jump and will sumtimes sort it out. Any idea's what might be causing it?

aahhh, now i think about it a wire did have to be moved when it was in the previous car! I dont remember which 1 but with that wiring diagram (thanks Daves_Zed) i should be able to figure it out :) anyone got any ideas about the banging when i switch it off? Had this problem in the last car too

i couldnt say, not too good with wiring. The head unit i have in at the moment works perfect though

I have a DVD head unit from my old car, works fine but when wired into the zed it wont remember the settings or stations, does anybody know which wire is for the memory? Is it usually the same colour on all headunits? also, when i turn the ignition off i get a loud bang through my subs which i dont get with my current head unit. Anybody know what could be causing this?

Hi mate, sorry about the late reply, its my birthday this week (today in fact) and its been a pretty hectic one. BBQ with friends saturday then drove a rental van to cornwall sunday to move my mate back to cov, came back monday evening and fell asleep watching tv. I'm free today from about midday untill around 4ish if you wanted to pop over, i cant send you a PM as your not subscribed, but i dont mind posting my number here for you if its not againt forum rules :) I'll try and wake up nice and early and come check the thread mate, dont expect it to be too early tho haha, i'm a lazy git sometimes :p

That would be fine, i have no plans for next week as of yet. I think, at 22, i'm one of the youngest Zed owners on here, which means most of my money goes on petrol and alcohol so probably wont have any money to make plans haha

I have my old saxo sat on the drive and i need to shift it, but at the moment the car has no tax and is not insured. Is it legal to tow the car on a solid towing bar without tax and insurance? It needs to be towed about 5-10miles to a friends lock-up. Any advice and help would be greatfully recieved, i'm desperate to move it so i can get it fixed and sold.
