19 mpg in an na around town
Dont use mine around town so not got any figures. But this time of year when its cold the mixture enrichment/cold start mode will drag the figures down. I found yesterday that tailgating my mates R34 V Spec Skyline at speeds up to 140mph (round our own private test facility of course) hasnt helped my fuel figures at all!! :x: :D

Help for a shorty owner!
Yep, so dont forget the footpump!!! Remember the whole rear end is redesigned on the SWB, and that plastic top on the passengerside under the rear hatch is where you fill the Washer bottle, which is fitted at the back corner!!! :D

Chromed headlights
Scott I noticed the same thing too. A very good job for what we paid, but slight imperfections showing. DONT TOUCH the finish at all, as Cos said. Mine are all assembled and back in the car. They look fine BUT if you are REALLY fussy you can see slight imperfection still. total cost was Just over £100 with all the carriage and Vat paid. Very good deal indeed. Im not a perfectionist so Im well chuffed with the whole job.

Possible respray, different reds?
Like mine!!!! nose panel and wings are doing it. Only the engine bay and iside the rear hatch. Rest of the shell is still in primer.

Newbie
UK cars may with some companies be slightly cheaper to insure, BUT manyof the UK cars at the cheaper end of the price spectrum that you are looking at are now well on the way to rusting out. You will soon double or treble your insurance "saving" on welding/fabrication repairs. Many of the recent Imports are "like new" underneath. Another factor in favour of imports is (usually) their lower mileage. Lots of UK cars had "business users" as first owners, who clocked up lots of miles. The above are general points of course. It is possible to find low mileage, not rusted out UK cars, but not at your end of the price spectrum.

- HELP!! Bleeding clutch!
Try changing the master cylinder. The fact that after bleeding it feels OK and then after USING for a while the system is full of air AGAIN means (IMO) that the master cylinder is fooked, cos its allowing air into the system as you use it.- Calendars - Make your orders!
Ermmm! oh? Wellll... Now let me think.... errrr.. this is sooooo tricky.... OK its............... No 1. :D :hyper:- Refurbishing suspension components?
What he says. But once its all back in the car then spray some WAXOYL over everything(not the brake discs tho!!!)- Stillen / AMZ headers from Europe?
Ask Mike at MJP Eastern Auto in our TRADERS SECTION of this forum.- HELP!! Bleeding clutch!
Re bleed it carefully without agitating the fluid. Micro air bubbles may STILL be present.- Best place to buy a NOS bottle?
Why dont you just get a CO2 bottle then??? They make em in ally. Just need polishing- Zed sellers. no Imagination
Motor Traders in general are inherently lazy. So never make any real effort with selling cars. Most beleive(albeit wrongly) that they have the best cars in the world for sale and dont feel the need to even get up from their desk to actually do anything. Their idea of a hard days work is to sit at an auction sipping coffee from plastic cups and ocasinally nodding or flicking their copy of Glass's guide at the auctioneer. - HELP!! Bleeding clutch!
