Hi Paul, welcome to the madhouse! You can join the M1 wherever you want but come off at J27 as per info below. This is where we are starting the main convoy from.

J34 south to J27 is just as bad. I have delieries twice a day from Sheffield.the same driver does the run twice in a day. Never a week passes without deaths, jams, diversions etc Poor guy is always late at least once every week.

J Spec cars with blue interiors had matching blue tinted glass. Check out Suzy's SWB Slicktop(ex Mike at MJP) ;) I was discusing this with Luke recently but I dont remember what else he said.

Nope! Its not that simple. Some J spec cars have blue also. Luke at Z Centre has all the details. Probly Mike at MJP knows too.

To ALL SHEFFIELD AREA peeps The plan is to exit the M1 at J32 on to the M18, and as there is nowhere to stop on J32 the best joining points will be either J31 on M1 OR J1 on M18. Maybe you could decide among yourselves then let this thread know??

Right then! the Leicester mob are using the A1 all the way up to Ferrybridge. :( So the rest of us from the Midlands need to have our own convoy using the M1.>M18.>A1M route. :dance: I suggest we start at J27 on the M1, so Notts and Derby area members can get together here.and anyone else who wants to join us. Agreed 100% Its not exactly a fortune in todays world £20 is it??? This COULD set a dangerous precedent.

Of equal importance to the overall weight capacity is the inherent stability of the car when its up on the stands. No good having 4 ton stands if they wobble etc.

Just what I was thinking. After meeting Si and hearing about the car, Im looking forward to seeing it at the joint meet next month. Si told me it will be his first meet( I hope it wont be his last, as Si is a top bloke and will make a good addition to the Midlands group.)
