ive been trying for 6 years best i found was macdonald racing in lanchester bit slow they had my car for 4weeks for replacing the cambelt, allways mega busy, could,nt fault there expertise on the zed though

did u ever find anyone to look at the zed in neast ive been trying 4 six years

on way to work this morning, giving it a bit of throttle weird sound plus immediate loss of power like a heavy hiss, when i pulled over bonnet open revving engine it appears to be from top of engine, sounds like air being forced out and something snapping shut , weird, the only thing ive had done lately new cambelt 2 months ago , 300tt auto import 1990 had it 7 years great fun, any ideas guys , thanks

just had it done , new water pump hoses etc, 715 squid, front of engine off rad off etc

hi guys, lower left hand side of steering wheel small display of warning lights, ive got one flickering on red every now and then when i go over a bump, 2 rows lights, its the second one in from the left top row, what is it thanks guys

hi guys, i live in the north east , zed cambelt broke , ive had major problems getting someone to fix it etc , however its now at macdonald racing, ive just had the guy on the phone asking could i source these items , im getting water pump replaced etc, inter cooler hoses x2 air intake hoses x2 thermostat fits into block , anyone know where i will get them, im pissed off car been off road since 3rd jan, many thanks guys i know you will help. ken

just had the local garage on the phone quoting me £1500 + thats just labour he,s quoting workshop manual times does that sound right, think he knows Iam desperate to drive it again its been two weeks now major withdrawl symptoms

zed died about 2 weeks ago , its currently in a local garage ( tyne & wear) ,been there 10 days, they finally got round to look at it yesterday telling me the timing belt has snapped, too big a job for him to do, he,s suggested a company called macdonald racing, they,ve took the zed cd away to look at , gonna ring me today (have'nt yet) anyone any idea how much this is gonna be. cheers

had the zed for six years never let me down, however about a month ago started to idle erratic from cold, spoke to smithy about and decided on a major service , bits from him, here,s the twist yesterday when i started the car from cold its trying cut out, i drove off 8 miles later it stops cuts out , wont start , gets rac out ,heads scratched, 5hours later the zed,s on a flatbed heading home, whats going on,all sorts of nastys going thru my head , any ideas guys if you have a spare minute or two, thanks

do the talc test, b4 you start it from cold remove central cover u will see the hoses , sprinkle with talc, dont forget the awkward hose below throttle cable (bit hard to see) also to the right of battery u have a fuel meter there do same,start engine u will see any leaking fuel tighten jubilee clips job done

black strip + fairlady & twin turbo got mine from courtesy nissan texas took all of 2 days to get fab service

zed in garage getting service no probs, my son gonna give me a lift to work, car wont start called aa homestart eta one hour, 45minutes in i go for a newspaper leave aa card in porch im gone 5mins but my son,s there, aa plonker been and gone wont wait wont start the car which happens to be stuck on crossroads causing havoc. phoned aa back, eventually some tosser (steve no-name) rang back says your at work not at home we wont come to your assistance. im telling him you have rang me back on my home number im at home he could,nt get it they would,nt come out. got taxi to work cancelled membership sent stroppy email they offered me bogus discounts to stay with :rant: them told them to stuff it

shake some talc on fuel lines .next morning start up , u will see leak tighten screws job done

any tips as to the best garage to take the zed. ie propshaft probs + service tyne & wear. also fit new rear spoiler ( got spoiler off luke)& res-pray thanks guys
