92 import TT with mods (mainly body, few performance) 38yrs old & kept on driveway not garaged. Paid £679 with Adrian Flux without declairing mods (Naughty but true) In order to get that price I had to fit Cat1 alarm & certify & use my NCD off my other car, which made that higher. Then found Houghtons from the traders forum. Gave em a ring & got it down to £514 with all mods declaired. This was as a second car so could put my NCD back on my other car to save on that as well. :hyper: I cancelled the Flux insurance after just 1 month & they ripped me off for £179 but this was still cheaper in the long run & secure in the fact that all mods are covered. :dance: It pays to use the forum & shop around as I found out the hard way.

I had a Cobra fitted as part of my insurance requirements for Thachem cat1. The guy who fitted it said that he couldn't fit it or certify it with the HKS turbo timer turned on as it would effect the immobiliser :confused: . I've not tried leaving the timer turned on since to be honest, but will give it a go. I just sit n listen to the engine note n ignore the missus anyway :tongue:

Wheres the best place to take my Zed for a general service local to Leicester. I say local but would rather take a day off work & travel if the quality of the service done elsewhere is far better. I have no service history with the car & would like it checked over before the spring comes & it gets used more. Any adv would be greatfully received. :D

Yes I put em on me supermoto and was impressed with stoppie power but haven't heard of them on a car before. :confused:

Not to tread on the chunky ones toes as mids meeting dude. :bow: However I went to a car & bike show at Ashby Folville in Leicestershire last summer and it was very good. There was about 3k cars & bikes on display. Every car & bike you can think of is there from new porky GT3's to Hillman Imps & everything in detween including finished & work in progress jobos. This also goes for bikes as well from Vintage to Agusta's. Its at a pub which is good with a BBQ in a village location. You dont get the Chav's just geniune car & bike enthusiasts. If you want to exhibit your car it is FOC if not its £1 to park. This would be a fantastic place for us to show ourself's (if ya know what I mean :eek: ) as I didn't see any Zeds there last year. It is held on the second Tuesday of every month in the summer. If you want to exhibit or just park it is wise to get there early as it is a well visited venue. If this is already one of your organised meets ignore it if not! Wot dya think. :hyper:

I've always loved the Zed 32 & said for many years I would have one. I started looking on this forum for about three months then had no choice but to go out & get one. The Zed is without doubt the most fun for ya bung ride on the road next to a superbike. The thing that swung it for me though was the helpfullness & comradery of the people on this site, whitout whice you can feel very alone when its all goin tits up. So to conclude my missus wants to thank you all for the state of our bank balance & the fact that I dont look at her anymore since I got me Z. :cool:

:bow: My first Zed meet & was impressed by the good turn out. It was good to put a face to some of the peeps that make up this top forum. Some nice cars out today & even my missus says I need a hard pipe kit, Strut brace, chome plenum etc etc. Good result me thinks then :hyper: :hyper:
