The oil psessure gauge on the dish are often wrong, mine reads low all the time. I would do an oil and filter change first and then see Allan

The weld trick is mainly used on timkin bearings (angled thrust)

Do you have a welder??? if you do first smash out the inner race and then run a ring of weld around the outer race, As the weld cools the ring will contract and you can let it fall out, Easy! If no welder heat the housing up with a tourch to expand the housing and knock it out. Or buy a new spyder if it comes to that :) Allan

You should not need spacers if the off set on the wheels is correct, also be careful as you will end up with rubbing on the arch when the spring compresses, pic below of SWB with 19s on

Mine are only 17s but the whole car is lowered 50mm on the back and 35mm on the front, due to the strosek body kit. You dont really whant to go bigger than 17s or the propotions get out of hand, The Vert is the same size as the swb (short wheel base) I will find some pics of swb with big wheels for you, you will see what i am on about, best bet on taste is a nice 5 spoke with a staggard fitting 17" dia 8.5" front and 10" rear with 235 45 17 front tyre and 265 40 17 rear. lower the car by an inch with Eibach springs and away you go :) Belive me I have been through all this!!
