  2. Sorry Paul, your post filled in some gaps I left out LOL :p If I remember correctly there isn't a great deal of room so you may need to take off the filler neck before dropping the tank, its a bit fiddly but only 6 bolts onto the side of the tank.

  5. undo the small inspection cover under the spare wheel, will give access to the top of the fuel pump. Remove all hoses and plugs from there, undo filler neck from tank, undo rearmost tank strap bolts and the tank will slide down and out.
  6. manual or auto? if manual put it in gear and rock it forwards and back, then try starting it. If the starter was sticking this could free it off and allow it to start.
