  4. My dads always been into finding old stuff, fossils, metal detecting etc, and I guess growing up around it I've always been interested. Anyway the other week when I was off roading down an overgrown public byway I noticed half-buried bottles kicking about in the overgrowth. I went back a week later and found that I seemed to have stumbled across an old bottle dump from 1940s -50s. :detective: Looking on the internet, theres a huge following for finding old 'junk & bottles' but it also seems that what I found may just be the tip of the iceberg as the same locations may have been used from middle of the 1700s onwards. Just wondered if anyone else had any experience with it? or maybe you lot aren't as sad as me :whistling:

  15. I had an L reg skline R33 GTST, it was an auto but sounded great, looked the part and was very reliable (apart from skidding into a kerb on ice) sold it for £1700 so they can be got for cheaps
  16. i'm not bothered if it comes back with swirls - its covered in scratches anyway  Bri - your RR hasnt moved for how long? :tt2: me and 2 mates with well spec'd land rovers got proper stuck down a lane last night in the rain, we had to turn back as it soon became truck sized bomb holes and a bit too serious lol. So its absolutely filthy now, just need a quick clean as it'll be dirty again soon.

I really need to get my Jeep cleaned, its absolutely covered in mud and you can barely see out the windows let alone tell what colour it once was  Do you think I could take it to one of the foreigner hand car wash places? my mate reckons its taking the piss a bit, but my theory is that they are advertising a service, why not make the most of it? :confused1:

  22. its suprising how shaky it caan be without a proper mount, but gotta be worth a try!
  23. Not really 'raced' any quick cars in the zed, although upset alot of people in my old GTR. However me and a few mates went for a 'random drive' which involved one of the best roads out this way, it twists and turns all over the place, and my old black Z held second place very well amongst a group of quick jap cars, infact the only car in front of me was a 504bhp Evo 8 and he couldn't shake me at all. Was the best driving I've done and I was buzzing at the end lol.
  24. I didn't catch the plate but sure its the same one.
  25. No the seized turbo on mine was the drivers side! had t otake the fecking engine out to do it lol, but wouldn't have had to if it was the passenger side.
