  14. bought some new brakes earlier and ripped these ones to bits, both pistons were stuck but freed off ok, the right front pad was almost wearing diagonally for some reason, and the inner pad the same side had 1mm of pad left! so they are sorted now and its good to go :thumbup1: pics to follow in another thread over the weekend cos it looks fookin cool lol.

  18. Yeah they're tight alright, is there a chance the driveshafts have been upset, would that give those symptoms or would the car not move at all then lol
  19. cheers for that mate yeah will try tomorrow. that wouldn't be for the front too though would it, as it would go through the brake disc and wind into the hub?
  20. ahhh yeah gone from 14" steelies to 15" alloys, but not changed the wheel nuts?
  21. Fitted some coilovers and new wheels to the GF's VW polo earlier. Seems everything with them are ok, but now the brakes are noisy, one rear brake catches (drum brakes) and after jacking both side fronts up and spinning the wheel they are also catching and one is making a chinging noise. Would this be directly related and if so what has happened? I've only been down the road and back and the you can feel through the steering slight left and right movement but its not been tracked or had the camber & stuff set up yet. Any ideas on the above would be greatful, thanks
  22. I've got a conversion kit, £500 (still in the car though)
  23. nosey git! 2 actually :tt2:
