  1. Sounds like he was a true gentleman. RIP.
  2. Nice car, good location, great pictures. Good work fella.
  3. That's the only problem, unless someone has experience I don't think i'd gamble. Only heard good things about the DW one and it's booked for monday so can't hang about!!
  4. Interesting. I was actually going to order the DW one tomorrow for fitting next week. Not seen this before.
  5. Awesome!! Nice one. Think the skirts really go with the rest of the car, and those wheels look spot on.
  6. BTW, your engine bay looks the nuts. Top job mate.
  7. Paint it the same colour as the throttle/cam covers. Won't the flexible stuff they mix with the paint for bumpers etc do the job?
  8. I like that a lot. Nice motor mate. and the best colour imo.
  9. It all sounds awesome mate, can't wait to see pics. Will it be at Zedworld for the bash?
  10. Cheers Steve, was looking into braided lines last night, didn't think of smithy doh! I'll get a price off him. Time to start smartening up the engine bay me thinks.
  11. I've been looking for some inspiration. Cheers dude.
  12. Cheers guys, I know it's no big deal but i'm chuffed. Can someone point me in the direction of the fuel lines please. I have no sense of smell so haven't noticed, but been told it's smelling of fuel. Would a good place to start be tightening all the connections on the fuel lines? And could this be one of the reasons i'm getting 180miles to a full tank?! And before anyone panics i'm not getting carried away, it'll be back in Mark(silverbullet)'s capable hands next week. *Searched and found!!*
  13. I've got a decat exhaust so maybe I wasn't imagining it :cool3: Either way, i'm back in love with the old girl. Hicas lockout next for me.
  14. Good times.
  15. Top work fella, look forward to the write up too :cool2:
  16. Looks and sounds awesome. Fantastic project and result :punk:
  17. Quick update peeps. Had a bit of time today so got the enclosures assembled today. Just need to get them covered along with the false floor where the old sub was and voila.. Sorry about crappy pics. :surrender:
  18. Now this might just be wishful thinking, but i've been out for a drive and i'm pretty sure there is a noticable improvement in performance. Seems a lot more responsive. Am i going mad? It's a Bllitz sus that i've fitted if that's of any relevance.
  19. All done and dusted :smartass: Thanks for the advice and encouragement, I know you guys think this stuff is easy (and it was to be fair) but having never touched cars apart to drive and clean them it's a confidence thing. Don't want to do any damage. Really pleased with myself, subs enclosures are in and just need carpeting, induction kit fitted. Good day in the life of Zed ownership :cool3: BTW, Dan that link was perfect mate, nice one.
  20. Thanks alot guys. Finished the carpentry so quick cuppa then get my mechanics head on. LOL.
  21. Bearing in mind I have no mechanical knowledge whatsoever should i attempt to replace my standard airbox with an aftermarket induction kit? Is it an easy job or should I let someone more competent do the job? Just finishing off my sub enclosures and enjoying working on the car so wondered if i should give it a go. A link to a 'how to' would be good!! :tt2:
