Only waist high for now. Waiting on roof trims and undecided on tailgate spoiler/smooth at present. And it gives me a chance to save a few more pennies!

Get my car back tomorrow, it's been in for a little cosmetic fettling. Can't wait to see her and go for a nice long drive. Didn't think i'd miss it this much :cool3: This is a little taster shot. I'll sort a proper thread with decent pics over the weekend.

Stick with it fella. It's bound to get you down every now and then, but all your obvious hard work and effort will be worth it. Your attention to detail is why it's taking so long but ultimately why you have such an impressive and desirable Zed. Top work and well done to you.

Get the guy who's selling it to tax it for you? Failing that see if it's possible to tax it online using a traders policy. If all else fails just phone the DVLA and they'll advise.

The battery on my van has given up the ghost. Any of you decent chaps know of a good competitively priced place to buy a new one? It's a Fiat Scudo diesel BTW. Thanks for any tips. Daffy.

I'm all new to this so my opinion isn't by any means informed. Guess i'm just a boring old(ish) git who doesn't really see why a group of consenting adults need moderating? A lot of people, not just here but in general, would do well to remember "It's nice to be nice". I like to have a laugh and i can be as sarcastic and opinionated as the next man, trust me. But why would anyone in their right mind want to go on a forum dedicated to Twin Turbo Datsuns and ther underpowered little N/A siblings just to cause trouble???? :oops::thumbdown::angel::tt2:

It didn't happen though, so good times. Seems some might go about looking for trouble in the knowledge its not too hard to find. If perhaps the reaction they are looking for wasn't so immediate they might get bored? There will always be a very very minor element of trouble makers, but maybe, just maybe, assumptions shouldn't be made so quickly that this is the case. As already said (extremely eloquently i might add) by others, then perhaps the threads could be let to run due course until a 'rule' HAS been broken?

I too am sad enough to be watching this detritus. Only saving grace is all the sad, deluded rubbish ones. I cry with laughter at them :yes:

"A subjective view on moderation" is the thread title. Not "Shall we all discuss Si's Lifetime ban and have a little dig at each other?" Come on guys let's all grow up and take a chill pill. Moderation unfortunately is a necessary evil as some don't know where to draw the line. But as has already been said, this is a site for grown ups and i for one feel a bit of 'jolly banter' is a good thing. And as anyone who knows me will testify, I am allways right :thumbup:

This is great news. Glad you're finally getting it sorted and didn't totally lose faith. You've had a proper rough ride and nobody could blame you if you had. Seems to me the car is now in safe hands at last. All the best mate and i hope both ourselves and our Zed's get to meet. Daffy.
