  1. Yep - were both just round the corner from you!
  2. My dip stick is a right PITA sometimes!
  3. I just read through all 11 pages of this and it almost made me horny! an inspiring build and a real credit to what can be achieved through patience and hard work. i am sure that you have the envy of everyone at the club. I love it - a work of art! p.s. what size are you wheels? and width and offset thanks :) tom
  4. Thanks - i'd like to have a look at that... if you dont mind your hard work being replicated :p tom
  5. I'm in Chelmsford too so can drive behind you and check it out if you like. As above I always thought blue mean't turbos :(
  6. Were they difficult to relocate? Assuming the original location is not in the wing (excuse my ignorance) I'll give most things a go on my car usually successfully but am not a mechanic so have to do lots of research first! I am looking to delete or relocate as much from the bay as poss and hadn't heard of this before. Although I may of got completely the wrong end of the stick (if that is the stock location)!! thanks, tom.
  7. If its dumping the fluid out it sounds like a hydraulic problem, it is worth replacing the line with a braided one, i got mine for £22 quid from MJP on here. I decided to replace my master at the same time as my slave as I heard old master not as efficient with new slave. Bit of a PITA to get to though!
  8. I managed to do it... and fit a braided line. Never done anything like it before! If I can do it, i'm sure you can too! I used parts of this guide too, which you might useful too http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/179132.html.
  9. Thanks, I'll get an eliminator kit then I can rip all the plumbing out? Btw... love your bay, thats what I am trying to achieve eventually!
  10. Hi All, I do not know what it is (im guessing some kind of oil feed/return?) but I hate it and I either want to delete it or hide it somewhere. Not my car, just a google pic: Could someone kindly tell me what it is and point me in the right direction of how to do so? Many thanks, Tom
  11. But what if they took that spec list to FC Tuning..................
  12. Cant wait for Car Mad Kaminari ones!!! Excited :) So hard to get originals
  13. I've got france on my tom tom that uses an SD card I think? Can I get the files off the card and email to you?
  14. Same!! Look lush! My garage is full of bits... tailgate, shocks, trim etc......
  15. i pay 780 for my manual tt, im 23, 2 years ncb but limited mileage
  16. I would agree and Carole Nash is 30. Its a shame that all younger drivers get tarred with the same brush!
  17. After emailing them and leaving a message for a call back I still hadn't heard anything. So I tried again one last time today... eventually got through and the chap asked me how I had heard of Lynbrooks. I said through the 300zx owners club, his 2nd question was, make and model please... I said 300zx!!!!!!!! as I had found out through the club. So all experiences so far had not filled me with confidence but they wouldn't insure me as according to them you have to be 25 to drive at manual TT (erm... anyone with a license can drive one). So sticking with good ole admiral multicar! Tom
  18. The first time I rang, specialist risks (01277) answered. The other number (0845) held on for 5 mins twice no answer. Then waited mins got an answer and she said there was no one there authorised to give insurance quotes atm grrr.....

  22. Must of just been the dosey bird on the end of the phone, ill try again!
  23. I regularly hate mine as it breaks and costs me more money! However, I usually enjoy trying to fix it and love it when its back on the road. Stick with it you know its worth it in the end!!!!!! I just wish there was more space in the engine bay... and its definitely trying to tell me something when the exhausts scrape on the floor!
