I bought a Micra yesterday and needed a new battery. Halfords wanted £78 with 3 yr warrranty and bought a better rated one from performancebatteries.co.uk for £48 including post and VAT with 4yr warranty. Plus next day delivery. So Halfords are not cheap.

Thanks Jeff very generous of you its members like yourself that make this a great place. Im just pissed because this seems like a deliberate act to rip of as many members here and do a runner. He posted 10+ items for sale and then disappeared. Sure he could be ill or something else, but does not add up why he or his girlfriend is ignoring us. To me on the face he looked like a respectable member. Reasonable post count, long standing member etc. I even contacted another member here who had bought an item in the past from him. Hopefully its just a hiccup and he does reappear to sort things out and if this is intentional then if some kind of new rules could come into place to combat this type of fraud then that would be a postive. Thanks again for the offer Jeff, I wont be taking you up on it but it is appreciated.

Thanks Marty, yes I was thinking the splines on the shaft would keep it in place if the nut came loose. Will have another crack when its light. Thanks ZXTT if I can do it without buying another boss would be better and I dont need the cruise control.

Well this is what I have and the boss wont go on because of the horn connection and the lug on the black plastic piece that come out. Now I can remove that black plastic piece completely. Which would mean re-wiring the horn connections. But also that would mean the only thing holding the steering wheel in place is the 19mm centre bolt. The black plastic section keeps the wheel centered. Is that safe to do?

I have a current single mysql database with 148 GB of data so if this forum is at 300mb plenty easy. Lots of tricks and tips you can use to run very very big databases fast. A PHP accelerator would be first and mod_gzip is very useful.

I wrote off my range rover yesterday which leaves me a car short. So im thinking off putting the Z back on the road. I have to put the plenum back and I wanted to put in the 550 injectors I bought. What would happen with just the injectors in and no other supporting mods ie chip or EBC. Would the car run ok?

It wont cause problems just mean the wheel is set more inwards. If you want it out the extra 10mm just get a 10mm spacer.

Can you use another browser on your phone like opera.
