So wanting to prime the turbo's but appear to have no oil pressure ive turned the engine over with fuel pump fuse removed and i was getting no oil coming of the return lines to the sump, do i need to leave the pipes connected and check them after turning it over a few times bit stumped here, any help much appreciated.

been struggling to find a home for it can i hell remember were it was from and after searching this afternnoon its defeated me, some1 put me out of my misery :stupid:

if its an oil filter seal i dont ever remeber it being there, it is about that size thou and it 65mm in size with weird

cheers jaikai, the top 1 is rubber and is about the size of an oil filter so racking my brain on wot ive had off the car and was thinking oil seal between gearbox and driveshaft maybe the little tunnel that the gearbox has and the driveshaft fits into, theres not much that size that ive took apart, engine was out not dismantled in anyway apart from turbo's removed so drivehsaft out and all vac pipes electrical connections etc removed and gearbox.

found these under my parts box and i nearly cried , im guessing the orange 1 is a for an engine plug sensor and the black 1 no idea, is there a seal between the driveshaft and gearbox any help much appreciated, before i start pulling the car apart again .... :censored:

Anybody got any images of the starter motor cables brackets theres a couple and 1 which is sort of a cable tie 1, i've looked online for images and cant find any good pics, i just forgot to take some when i removed mine so could'nt recall were they went ... cheers :thumbup1:

finally got my engine back in today its sitting on its mounts still loads to do but hey ho baby steps ...

i spent last year drilling out a ton of snapped bolts that hold the undertray on

hi i bought the braided oil and water lines kit ,the kit comes with a 1mm oil feed adapter/restrictor do i need to use it ? there just bog standard manual rebuilt turbo's cheers any help appreciated

I use the e38 varta it was recommended to me by ali, its a good size but it does fit

oo new shines from z1 motosport, pcv and heater matrix pipes gonna stick with the blue pipes theme in the engine bay.

i was just looking at fitting a more common turbo's so in future if i needed a rebuild again the cost would in theory be less as the parts are more common, as the few quotes and people i talked to all said original garrett parts for these turbo cost a fortune as its only used on the zed.
