  1. Well kinda wrong because a DHL guy or UPS guy isnt allowed to! Royal Mail are however!
  2. Yeah I think im leaving the wiper on, unsure yet. Ive shelved the plans for a 99 spec and im going for mid level spoiler with new perspex strip. Yes I was well happy with the last job! :thumbup:
  3. Following on from this last year http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=138672 Now I am having the foam spoiler removed and replaced, ducts installed on front bumper and a repair to the nearside door which had more ripples in it than Barrymore's swimming pool Foam spoiler removed from tailgate exposes a half - decent condition underneath Door taken off Like to meet the Picasso who painted this door last time, must operate in the dark or has a white stick More pics to follow on the progress!
  4. Hmm, charged the battery up overnight and replaced it following afternoon... car started first time again but this time no ticking. Must have been the engine trying to conk out due to an over flat battery
  5. I reckon bikes should be forced to wear a front number plate
  6. The car, wheels and person in the 2nd picture are all HIDEOUS
  7. I can personally recommend the Pass of Llanberis in Snowdon or anywhere in mid wales. Loads of places to camp too. Also you may want to think about going to west Wales around Pembrokeshire. As soon as the M4 ends the roads start getting better and better and twistier and twistier. St Davids in West Wales is my favourite and most camp sites charge about £2.50 per night per pitch or £6 a night for a pitch with electric hook up.
  8. Its ok, once I get the bearing done on the prop (courtesy of Slick Pete) all the bodywork done (spoiler, machine polish, ducts, maybe skirts) MOT tax and insurance i'll be able to take her on a blast on hopefully March 1st!!?!?!
  9. Actually yes O2 would also be an excellent option because there are the very same people as BE broadband (BE supply o2) and they are both fantastic
  10. Sounds the same to me, Trouble is I cant take her for a good run because its sorn, without MOT and the prop is hanging off haha.
  11. Neither! BT are an absolute rip off for a limp wristed connection and crappy homehub garbage and Sky broadband kept outing for me all the time. I switched to BE broadband about 3 years ago and never had any problems. At my old house Sky could only manage 2mb then when i moved to BE I had nearer 6mb. Its far cheaper too. Proper broadband!
  12. Started off a jump pack and seems to be running as I remember it doing although there is now a fairly noisey ticking noise coming from near the top of the engine. Do you think its just a matter of letting her run for oil and water to circulate to normal operating temperate or something more sinister? There is a small patch on the ground underneath the engine so could just be a matter of topping up with oil?
  13. Mexicans are generally bitter because they live in a shit hole
  14. I think we should do both! Why not. My car wont be back on the road till around March 1st tho, lots of work needed.
  15. :happybday::happybday::happybday::happybday::happybday::happybday::happybday:
  16. You would have lost the whole year not just 6 months. NCB is awarded in your renewel premium I had a quote off Admiral £390 fully comprehensive, i'm nearly 27. They will get my money
  17. Absolute horrible motor and Jane you will not get 0-60 in 6.9 out of a 1.3 Auto even if the turbo was the size of ayers rock £1700 will buy you a lot of car these days so not sure why you are looking down the fast route all the time but if that is necessary you can buy a a MK2 Golf Gti 16v for that money and it will blow the doors of that Starlet. In fact, you can buy a Porsche for that money http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2428898.htm. Now the Starlet looks even more like a Daihatsu Charade
  18. Hell of a good buy looks lovely
