Last Wednesday a mate of mine sent me an email about a job he had heard about. I emailed the agency involved and he called me straight back with the usual 'Please can you send over a copy of your latest CV and we will get back to you...' So I sent it over anyway and within 1hr had a call back asking if I would be free the next morning for an interview? (it was already 3.30pm by then!). I went to the interview which went ok, but as an IT contractor I was expecting to get a real technical grilling. None of the questions were too hard so I figured I didn't get the job. 4 hrs later I got the job offered. Total time from Hearing about the job to getting the offer 23hrs... Not bad at all.... :hyper:

How do you know it's substantially quieter than Dynomat? I always thought Dynomat was industry standard because it offers the best reduction? If it is better you have found a bargin, just wondering what you basis for comparison is?

lol - maybe - but If I earned that - I would sure as hell make sure I EARNED it - he did nothing. I thought he was a junior!

He did very little, wrote a few reports - nothing taxing. He has left now which is how I found out his rate, but I still find it obscene for what he did. He milked that money for 6 months! I actually feel disgusted!

It can't be that. I just saw on 5th gear, that if you buy one in Japan, it will only cost £30k but once it shipped to the uk it costs nearer 60k due to taxes?

UPDATE lads - email has been sent, but the team has confirmed - we are on the list for this summers Le Mans 24hr!

I would see if there are updated drivers for your drive first. You can check on your drive manufacturers website AND on your laptop manufactures website for the latest drivers. Check the event viewer (click start\run and then type in eventvwr) then check both the system and appilcation logs to see if you get a specifiv error as to why it failed. Any red warning marks in your eventvwr should be investigated. Hope this helps
