  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY :donatello: Peter
  3. Well, if i manage to get an original spoiler, my "table spoiler" will be up for grabs if anyone wants one. Peter
  4. As you know, i have a Trans Am Knightrider Replica but i've had several models of Trans ams and Camaros in the past. They are excellent cars.....if you like american cars but don't expect the ride to be nearly as good as a jap car. They are good as show cars though. Peter
  5. what is the 99 spoiler? i think i have the 94 - 98 spoiler on mine. don't really like it too much. WOuld love to have the early one on there in either rubber or fiberglass. Peter
  6. Wow, i actiually think that those prices are quite resonable for dealer parts. Went to Vauxhall about 10 years ago to try to get the plastic part that replaces the number plate on an Opel Manta and was quoted some ridiculous price in the hundreds. Peter
  7. Ah, that explains everything. It's a black sticker that looks the same as the perspex strip :) So doesn't really matter what spoiler i get then. Phew, thought there were different types. I personally prefer the look with the sticker removed i think. Peter
  8. thanks fort the replies The car in this picture has the flat earlier wing spoiler but you can see the perspex strip http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5d/Nissan_300ZX_rear_20080408.jpg This car on the other hand appears to have the same spoiler but covers over the perspex strip http://www.ssip.net/upload/nissan-300zx-back-3_123.jpg Any other pics of the standard spoiler taken from the rear would also be helpful if anyone has any Cheers Peter
  9. cool idea, especially with so many things being chargable via USB stick these days. Peter
  10. HI all, does the original spoiler come in different variations. I have seen pictures where it appears to cover the black tinted plastic on the boot and pictures where this is still visible. Are there 2 types of spoiler or is it just a case that this piece of tinted perspex is simply painted the same colour as the car in some earlier models? Cheers Peter
  11. Welcome to the forum. NIce looking car. Over the years i've been to look at 2 in that colour :) I think the blue pipes look ok. Peter
  12. I love my KITT car. There is an event on every year in Halifax called Knightcon. There are loads of replicas and other cars there. Last year they had the GT500 from gone in 60 secs, A general lee, a DeLorean and loads more. Maybe i'll try that look above for this years Knightcon lol Peter
  13. Had the same thing happen on my Z last weekend?? Posted a thread on here about it. Left the car overnight then it's been fine ever since (touch wood) Did stick some Redex in too in case it was some sort of fuel blockage to try and release it. Peter
  14. Welcome to the forum. Nice looking car mate. Funnily enough, i prefer the Z to the lexus, but hey, each to their own :) Peter
  15. I'm sooooo jealous. I just got back last week from a "holiday from hell" in spain :( Peter
  16. if anyone buys it to break, keep me in mind for the spoiler :) Peter
  17. If you do decide to remove the stock spoiler, i'm after one. send me a PM with how much you want for it. Peter
  18. Some people are just genuine A holes and take pleasure in destroying other peoples hard earned property. Peter
  19. The calibra is shocking. Under "Bad Bits" he should have wrote "door cards look crap, Front bumper has no relation or line up to side skirts, colour is hideous" etc. The Clio looks slightly better but why spend that much on the car then try to sell it with those utterly shite stock wheels? Peter
  20. In my younger days i would have chased him down but now i think there is no point. On the other hand though, a similar thing happened to me a few months back. I was considering following him but then some traffic slowed me down and he was driving like an arsehole weaving in and out of traffic. I saw the general direction he took on the slip road. I was enraged as he pushed my car with me and my girlfriend in it into the path of another vehicle coming off the sliproad. I was lucky enough to see his car a few days later and made a "stinger" device to leave under the tossers wheels, and it was dark so he wouldn't be able to see it. :) Wouldn't have normally been bothered if he hadn't endangered our lives. Peter
  21. The advert is a bit useless though. Tells us nothing about the car Peter
  22. Cheers for the help guys. I'm just praying it doesn't happen anymore Peter
  23. so that's where i'm gonna have extra holes when i change the spoilers over :) Actually, these cars don't look too bad spoilerless Peter
  24. Car stopped doing this today but i'd still appreciate peoples opinions in case it happens again in the near future. Peter
