  2. Don't know how many north east Zed owners would be able to attend. I'm deffo gona try to go. You can't even go to the pictures for 2 hours for that price these days :)
  3. That is a very very nice car. I'd love it. You're right though, it'll be expensive. Peter
  4. Do you think there will be many on-gate tickets available? Sounds like a canny day oot :)
  5. lol. I can understand the mechanics suddenly being ok. I've had a few cars where i've booked them into the garage and they've suddenly had "doctors syndrome" and the fault disappeared after they were booked in. The rear lights though........weird? You sure it wasn't just a few horse hairs or bits of muck which have washed off in the rain? :)
  6. Such a shame to hear bad news :( Get well soon Craig :)
  7. Thanks for that, i'll relay that info to my trimmer :)
  8. Looks great mate :) And yeah, the crystal lights reflect fine for the MOT :)
  9. i've got some you can have but i'm miles away:(
  10. Cheers for the help guys. the trimmer said he couldn't rip it off as it was stuck too tight and that he didn't feel comfortable doing it in case he ripped the door cards?
  11. Hi All, My car is in the trimmers this week getting the seats and interior panels recovered but we've hit a stumbling block. The trimmer has done the seats and some of the interior but he can't get the material off the door cards and dosn't think the tweed will hold the glue to stick the new white vinyl on top as it needs to be streched. Has anyone re-covered the door cards and how do you overcome this? This is pretty urgent as i need to pick the car up on Thursday after work and its a bank holiday weekend. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance Peter
  12. Really like the look of that and to be honest, the only thing i don't like aboput the rear lights is the carbon fibre and the centrepanel. if it was all black and didn't have the stupid looking reverse light it would look great. you could even tint that black i suppose to improve it :)
  13. Happy Birtday Dan :happybday:
  14. I'd be dubious too with an NA bumper if it's unmolested. Also, You can never get a match with pearl white on the plastic bumpers. its to do with the way the metal flakes lie. I had the front wing and front bumper sprayed at the same time and even though it was the same paint, it was different on the wing with it being metal. That's why i had my whole car painted Arktic white instead. Peter
  15. I personally don't like the titanium key but i'm surprised that no one has made a replica before now. wouldn't be that hard to bould and cast a blank.
  16. Welcome to the forum. get the pics up so we can drool :)
  17. Happy Birthday Mate :donatello:
  18. How about painting it 2 tone. Black on top and silver on the bottom? I always loved that look. had my Probe painted loke that :)
  19. Glad you got it back mate. :)
  20. Wow. That was a great trip down memory lane. The action force and starwarsbstuff brings back so many happy memories. Funny, I was just thinking of the f14 strike eagle and th twin bladed desert helicopter the other day then you post up pics. :) Peter
  21. Barrys Tyres in gateshead is reasonable mate :)
  22. Sorry to hear this mate. Theiving *******s. The garage is definately liable. As soon as they take the keys from you to perform work they take responsibility. any sign that says "left at owners own risk" can only apply when you "leave" your own car there and take the keys with you. Your own insurance company could make a claim against the garage. If all else fails take him to court. If you left a child with a Childminder who is paid to look after it and the child goes missing, it's the childminders fault as you pay them for the service. it's the same with cars.
  23. Happy Birthday :happybday:
