it is mph as the kmh is on the inner of the dial and its the haybusa turbo so can do 220 + so when the speedo maxes out can do more yep, even though it does look a bit slow

ive got one of these home portable air con units that seems to need regassing , Is this something easy to do ?? can i do myself with one of those halford air con regassers ?? anyone done this b4 ?

if no spark have u checked the ptu ? bu might have something to do with the crank angle sensor change. Im sure someone alot more knowledgable will be along in a min lol

very wise mate , i bought a sold called mint impreza ra and it blew up twice in 2 months !! it detonated . The pistons in them are sooo weak its unbelievable. Now if he had an evo , its a different story !!

depends how much ur work is worth mate , at that milage they are vulnerable and cant take much abuse so if ur planning on keeping i would bother unless its a bargain , but if u planning to sell on expect to get about 2500 ish

can u hear the compressor come on when u press the button mate ?? if u can then a regas it should be or if u cantthen possibly faulty air con button or clutch or even pump.

wastegate chatter is nothing to do with a wastegate. it is has been said, the compressor stalling. its the compressed air bouncing off the blades after its bounced off a closed butterfly. a turbo doesnt need to match engine speed. the wastegate will open on overrun (when u lift off at higher revs) but that it is because closing the throttle butterfly causes a massive pressure spike in the inlet manifold. the wastegate opens at say 1bar, and it will spike beyond that. a wastegate makes no noise, apart from maybe altering the exhaust tone! also, a wastegate works on the exhaust side of the turbo, it doesnt open to get rid of unwanted boost. thats what you fit a DV for. heres a good link for details : http://smartmaniacs.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=27383 and http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?threadid=52743

as i said mate the noise is caused by the air going through the turbos blades and getting chopped up , u van get this by blocking off recircs and plugging vacumn lines.
