  3. Ive been reading this link for aus300zx site low water sensor and was wondering where to get one / or the bits and do u think it would just be plumbed into the top water pipe ?? Deffo a good idea i recon as the zed can be prone to dumping water on occassions and would be good to know when low .

  8. Ended up buyin a tomtomgo 300 excellent bit of kit , every function i could need , very simple to use , portable and has bluetooth !! well worth the cash!!
  9. ok , ive had a few of these and i have paid them in the bank. few point 1) the cheque will NEVER clear !! it will stay in your account and when u contact the bank they will fob you off for ages saying they have to speak to the international dept. But will never clear in your account. 2) Tell em to fook off - as you will also get charged for that cheque if u try to cash it !! 3) Never except a cheque from outside the uk eever as 99% of them will never clear !!! even if they are legit , ( bank expalined why , but didnt understand all the goblde-gook they was talking ! So there u go , i have had about 3 cheques ive tried to cash and same happened to each when i was selling my R6, And also the bank has the right to close ur account down , if the cheque turns out to be fraudulant ( which is deffo will be ) as they threatened to close mine on the 1st one i paid in !! karl

I personally think that PeterR knows his zeds inside out and if he feels the need , along with most of tt.net and Aus300zx ..to all use SMIC then ..i recon that answers the question tbh mate.but everyone is entitled to their own opinions. For Smic i would recommend Pace side mounts as they are the biggest u can get .

  12. Why dont u just whack some intercooler water sprays on if u want the same effect , make em yourself for £20..bargain...will do same job as the subaru ones as thats all they are.. Ok also to add to the debate: Most people on tt.net use SMIC for very good reasons !! This is a write up from RanchZ re: the apollo front mount but im sure they are all very similar : I personally believe is that side mounts are the only way to go on a Z. The reason I believe this is because the Z32 engine was designed with a CROSS FLOW intake manifold.......What this means is that the left turbo feeds the right side of the engine and right turbo feeds the left side of the engine. The reason for this is that when the exhaust exits the one side it pushes the turbo that is feeding the opposite side that has the intake valve open to fill the cyl for the next compression stroke ECT ECT..... The Apollo intercooler takes the air from one side and feeds the other. This is reversing the way the intake manifold was designed and makes it no longer a cross flow manifold. This causes the engine to be less efficient and will cause the turbos to produce less boost.     i had nos in my tuned sierra xr4x4..and loved it , until it blew the arse out the engine one day at standstill. It was linked up so it came in at full throttle only. I left it on after a race and and revved the car up out of gear and in came the NOS and BANG !!!! ha ha ha oh well cheap fun while it lasted !! Not for a zed though as i have spent to much to watch it go bang !! But the twin purge kit with a hose under both front arches and that was alot more fun !! press the button and peole wondered what the hell it was and did look good must admit. was professionally installed and setup by nitrous solutions in essex ..excellent bunch.
  15. deffo agree ,I have daughter of me own and the missus has 3 from a previous marriage. The are 12 , 7 and 6 and the :xxx: of an ex has never paid a penny ever !! and when the CSA chase him , he tells them he has no job , When everyone full knows he is an estate agent and earns a fookin fortune !! derserves a good fookin :smash: :smash: :smash: :smash: if i ever see him !!
