Maybe but just imagine a 35mm thick disc slightly warped and spinning at 150mph then asked to stop in anger the vibration on the disc simple ripped the Brembo from its two mountings. Thats the disc in question and the rusty one beside it is from a stock TT

LOL I was not even driving its when the car was having the boost turned up and there was a slight vibration on the N/S Willwood disc,the brakes were used in anger then smash bang crunch new wheel,disc,caliper needed.

Hmmm I see a few R34 gold Brembos I was the first to fit those to a Z here in the UK years and years ago they were good but they kind of exploded at 150+mph:rofl:

I know its got nothing to do with BHP numbers its what it does on the tarmac that counts and I have to say it has taken a long time to get to this stage. Tuning the Z to the level I have gone to has taken a lot of blood sweat and tears and not to even mention the £££££££ over the last 8 years.You will never know just how much of a handfull it is unless you sit behind the wheel and wind those Greddy TD0518G turbos to 30+psi. Today it was blue sky the roads were dry and the air temp was just right and I have to say in all honesty what an absolute pleasure it is to drive at full chat it make me realize just what I have created and in all honesty she has been worth every penny to make her what she is:nana2: A genuine 586 horses and 550 lbs of torque on pump gas ( still awaiting dyno sheet) but they cant be telling lies:)
