  12. yea 90% is just basic stuff mate,a lot of heads get nervous by the very nature of the car being high performance but get yourself a workshop disc and take your time and it will be easy peasy :)
  13. grrrrrrr  so its ok for a knobhead to drive past a busy school gate at 3.30pm when its full of infants and mothers trying to cross between parked cars at 30mph (which is 15mph to fast imho) and be within the law or for someone to drive in the early hours on a total deserted road (motorway included) with not a car in sight, driving a 160plus mph sports car at 112mph and end up getting there house repossed  Now iff i was a gambling man i know where my money would be for causing harm and sorrow
  14. leaking pipes will be found by 14 of psi faster than negative vacume so iff its boosting to 14 it wont be a leak :)

  18. thats what ime saying here, charge temps can have a drastic effect on power not to mention engine damage  at least iff you know whats goin on in that department you can take various courses of action to prevent :)
  19. after experimenting with a greddy temp gauge and a hairdryer i have discoverd the sensor reacts fast enough to use as a intake temp gauge. What i need is a boss welded into each hard pipe to take the sensor and have a pair of gauges in the din slot :) one for each bank,so i need to know who can weld me a couple of bosses in my hard pipes. Ime a bit of a fanatic on intake temps as howling on the motorway for long periods i would like to monitor i/c temp plus its a bit more gauge bling :smash:
  20. because your auto is a complicated hydraulic pump to put it in simple terms and without one your fluid gets veeeeerrrrry hot (to hot) and as we know heat kills

  23. do you mean the dust boot on the outside??? the piston seal is inside the unit so without taking it apart you wont know, by the way iff you have,nt got a new seal then dont take it apart, these componants tend to seal as a matching pair and once disturbed usally start leaking
