Any budding Beekeepers in the club?
you can either put up with them for 1 season as wasps migrate after 1 season or call the council and depending iff they deem them a hazard they will remove or you can try yourself with a couple of cans of spray, iff you can get the chemical into the middle of the coloney via a length of 15mm copper pipe then you will kill the nest,as stated in a earler post ime getting these fvkers all year from april to october being a roofer and have become a bit of an expert :D ps,this years wasp count has been very low on account of the cold damp weather but that usually means they last well into late aut or even earlly winter iff its a mild one again

E.G.R valve pic (pics now attached), but not egr
it could be a blocked or sticking air bypass valve,at the back of plenum by the batt, with you taking off the pipe its let air bleed into plenum to correct a/f ratio for a correct idle

Any budding Beekeepers in the club?
the best bet would be to call a roofer with a bit of balls steve, you got to get it now before it gets any bigger as it could block up your flu mate which iff you have a gas fire is not good mate, iff its earlly it wont be that big and a garden vacume could suck em out in one go, get the roofer up there and just take the ladder away untill he moves the fvker  iff you do go for "pest controll" yellow pages and just pick a guy working from home and you,ll pay a lot lot less than the rip off big companys iff you lived within half an hour or so bud it would have been out now bud  ps no with a moden chimney they cant get into the house as the mid-feathers are still intact mate
