washed my car yesterday and was horrified the way the b@stard road salt has butched my rims:shock::mad:..2 mins with a brillo pad on each lip and they are 50% better but it looks like a wheels off job in the new year to mint them up again

take the pipes off the rad and find a couple of bolts to bung in with some plumbers ptf sealing tape or you will have auto tranny fluid draining out for a while a drip at a time,,lower more important for ovious reasons:)

get a lot more milage buying an iron or kettle Al..

one of the worst cars ive ever bought was a 4 year dry stored jaguar xj6 with under 40,000 miles under its belt..bodywork it was brand new including the leather interior but thats where it stopped, allmost every rubber pipe including the p/s had perished,the fuel system had to be completly flushed out,the tires had developed flat spots,the calipers had seized including the rear inboard ones (really big job to get to) and after freeing them the 2 fronts started leaking,thermostate had to be replaced,all fan belts had cracks in them and had to be re-newed, and to top it all off i could never get rid of a foul smell from the air con no matter what i did so at the end of the day i had bought a right lemon which i thought with it being in a garage for 4 years would of been a minter:mad:
