  1. Anyone know if this chap is from Blackpool? I only ask because I've just bought a pair of Brembos from Ebay (one of the calipers has been weld repaired and I want a refund)

Might be completely unrelated, but I know he was selling a set of Brembos on here and that went wrong....

    Cheers.

not sure about his area bud but you can not bring an ebay purchase to the club if it was listed and bought from ebay...that should be done via the normal ebay/paypal avenues. Having said that goodluck;)

  2. ime thinking along the lines of members sending parcels 1st by recorded post and if the buyer is happy with goods then pay;)..As far as having details of addresses stored with the club then thats a no go as at the end of the day any transaction between 2 partys has nothing to do with the club..If on the other hand i see a wrong doing from a deal gone bad i will do my best to find a solution BUT i always see a suspension of a membership as a very last resort as then its ten times harder for the inocent party to get a result.

  3. Well, I do think that all has been said and that all now know who is being discussed here. It should be laid to rest, unless of course the Police make further evidence available. I feel sorry for those who have been affected by what has happened but I also think that all blame is not entirely with the subject person. I have no previous experience with this guy apart from what he has decided to publish on this site, of which has been very good info albeit from the Nissan manual. His previous employment from what I can gather was not mechanical, by that I mean from a garage background, so his knowledge was new found and not from previous experience and formerly trained in motor vehicle technology. His very abundant technical replies to many questions put on this forum prabably gave the impression an indepth proffessional background. But surely this would have raise alarm bells when vehicles were in his care for longer say than 6 months. What other garages do anyone know have cars for repair for that sort of time ? Come on now, its a no no. It has all been said here, so lets just move on and accept that some people just aint being responsible, and that goes for both the supposed culprit and the customer. Its ended up being a problem for both.

the thread was in bed all tucked up with horlics 3 days ago untill you just woke him up again ;) having said that some wise words above matey...

  4. Hey Brian, as you know for the last month i've been extremely patient and diplomatic giving the benefit of doubt to Phillip, at this stage he thinks he's the injured party, i've nothing to show for my money, he has the money in his a/c and i've a set of poxy jap clocks that were supposed to be UK spec, I didn't even mind that as long as my fuel rail and injectors arrived. There's no way in hell a used set of injectors wouldn't leave newspaper stinking of petrol. I've bought 750cc RC injectors for the Evo and they came in the original plastic case with the foam padding, wrapped in copious amounts of newspaper and bubble wrap and the whole parcel was reaking of petrol.

I'm an easy going guy and get on with everyone but i won't be made a fool of.

I'm the one asking people if they got the parts by mistake and making all the phone calls!

It's up to him to find these things not me, he's responsible for the items posted so he should be doing all the running around!!

I'm sick of this s**t, I love coming on the forum and watching the banter, I've dealt with Yassa, Jimmytt, Zed-sean, Jaffaz32 and others (sorry GibsterTT) etc and we've all gotten on grand. It really pains me that this happens to people, it destroys trust in clubs and sites.

Where should I go from here??

Has Dazvert looked at this thread, can he shed any light on this matter if he knows this person personally? ( sorry to bring you in on this dazvert, but i'd like to know)

mate i really feel for you over this but your not going to like what ive got to tell you next...although ime the trading liason officer for this club and i really do my best over matters such as this there comes a point when i cant do any more iff a member is not responding to pm's or threads and ultimately its a transaction between 2 partys and out of the clubs hands mate..Now i do have resorces that i could use on a member not responding to another members complaints but believe me mate it would really hinder your chances of a result in this case..can i suggest in this case to try and sit tight untill the member has been online and at least read your latest pm's then we can go from there. As much as this is very frustrating and with you feeling the need to vent your anger i really think this type of action with these threads could make it worse for yourself mate..ile send him another pm and we'll go from there;)
