if you do fit another working auto dont forget to fit the t/converter from the working car as yours could be full of debri and there a basard to clean out even on the bench...also take off your rad and flush the oil cooler side out including pipes as doing this will increase the life of the new box 10 fold:yes:

ive no objection to private plates but it makes me mad when the dealers think we are knobheads as in summit along these lines... it run ok when it was blocked but went worse as it cleared..jeff re-blocked the front face with tape and it ran fine again,thats how ive read it anyway:yes:

paint had blocked the filter at the front...either by over spray or intentional painting of rad aread. over time the paint had come off and resulted in the filter end gradually letting more air in and the rest is history:wink:

not forgeting even docs and specalists sometimes mis-diagnose...second opinion would do no harm ;)
