  13. ahhh ive just built a petrol (honda powerd) compresser for a customer and then stripped it again as he had no money, ive now put the pump on another machine..BUT you can buy chinese petrol machines very cheap and this should be your road to go down mate instead of adding a generator into the idea http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AIR-COMPRESSOR-200-LTR-NEW-PETROL-ENGINE-5-5-HP-/190573894238?pt=UK_Air_Tools_and_Compressors&hash=item2c5f16da5e

  16. used to make me laugh when the newbies turned the corner and lined up for a burn out, dropped the clutch and smoked em no problem and sat there in a haze of blue smoke thinking they had arrived...crept up to the stage, hit the limiters and dropped the clutch and just stood there not moving:rofl::rofl:..stiff road cars make terrible drag cars no matter how much power you have:winkiss:
  17. ive sent AndyP a pm mate to this post..
  18. i used to campain a 77 trans-am in my past life running cage.slicks the works and had the worked big block running 600bhp on open headers:w00t:...the main objective and problem was traction not horse power. The fast guys a lot of the times had less power but better chassis and resulting in better times..IIRC i only had about 10psi in my rears and rear shocks so soft the ass was dragging,it was trailed to events so was set up very soft and wide:wink: With drag racing as a lot of people in this club know low times only come with practice and not just power..
