could do with the starter fixing on mine, sometimes it just makes an awful grinding noise and refuses to start, embarassing when you are holding up a queue at a petrol station because your fancy car wont start :/

I think TT Tim has it, and afaik he is the only member on here who does.

You could just remove the mph convertor, put a 180kph face on it and thats about right i'd imagine. Either that, or put a UK cluster in there, which is essentially what you have.

my sister just bought an acer aspire 3003lm from ebuyer for 400 squid and its surprisingly decent for that cash, only comes with 256mb ram so i doubled that, not the best screen in the world but it does, hdd is a bit on the slow side too, and it has crappy battery life, but its all there and it looks nice. Depends what you want to do with it I suppose, all my sis does is browse the web on it so it does fine.

Sorry to say it, but if you are basing a purchase on insurance costs then maybe this isnt the car for you? Owning a zed the last of your worries should be the insurance cost! You should be a lot more concerned about rust, autobox/engine/turbo failure, which will all cost a great deal more than the insurance to sort out ;)
