  1. can get a socket from any good electronics store, maplin, cpc, RS etc.. however, soldering the ECU has a fairly high risk of ****ing it up so I wouldnt try it unless you have some experience with a soldering iron!
  2. Luke at the zcentre sells the convertors you need. Not sure if all of them do it (I imagine they do) but the one I do messes with all the speed sensitive stuff, namely the steering, and auto gearchanges. Best way is to get UK clocks and an aftermarket ECU chip to remove the speed limit. Danny at DTA sells the rings, very nice they are too.
  3. mine is rubbish, I need to spam more :p
  4. Could have sworn I read this the day after the attacks, hard to believe its still doing the rounds.
  5. they look nice, but you cant see the needles? Decent price I reckon.
  6. the dual core will be better at multitasking, i'd go for that one personally.
  7. great looking zed there mate, looks purposeful :)
  8. 2 poster all the way imo. Gives you so much better access to all of the car, full access to the underneath, better access to the engine bay, allows you to work on the brakes/suspension with the wheels off super-easy.
  9. those things are brutal, no way you would ever see my zed near one!
  10. hmm yeah, i'd much sooner be sorting the rustout than adding bling.
  11. Athlon64 is the best desktop cpu, and you want a socket 939 one. Pentium 4's days are over, even the MUCH lower clocking Pentium M chips can outperform the extreme edition p4's. Incidentally, the pentium M chips can also outperform the A64's in some cases, but it can be a bit of hassle to get one working in a desktop pc.
  12. we have prizes with real trophies and everything at JAE ;)
  13. thats right. people on here dont seem to consider it a problem, which is a bit odd as if you go on an MR2 forum they will tell you its a major problem.

18s seem pretty good to me, im not a big fan of the super-skinny tyres you need on 19's

  17. looks nice, i'd be constantly worried that a carbon frame would snap on me though. You will deffo love the juicy's though, best upgrade i ever did to my bike.
  18. brute force is the only way with 'em.
  19. you say 'dont hold back', so ok, i think it looks shite, sorry. Looks great from the outside though, just think if you got some really heavy tints we wouldnt be able to see the interior ;)
  20. brakedust300 has those i think
  21. Fookin gutted, bought a fujitsu laptop today for £700, a reasonable price considering it was £950 new and it had never even been turned on. Had the fookin thing working for an hour before it blew up. Damn thing stopped working, wouldnt turn back on, no lights, nothing. I decide to give it one more go, plug the charger in and theres nothing, anyway i go cook my tea and when i get back its going haywire all the lights flashing and a very strong smell of burning electronics. Gutted isnt the word :(. Oh well good job it has 3 year collect&return warranty, even if i cant phone till monday!
  22. never seen the blue one before, looks great, never seen a zed with a bigarse GT wing but it looks cool.
  23. they look good, but then I would say that ;)
  24. yep leaking fuel lines will deffinatly cause the fuel smell from the vents, not so sure on the exhaust fumes though, sounds a bit iffy.
