  7. Chassis code is RZ34. There is no Z35, its a heavily facelifted 370z.
  8. Highest engine wear is on a cold engine and slowest way to warm up an engine is sat idling. Plus various other reasons such as Carbon build up in the combutsion chamber, spark plug fowling, Exhaust condensation is not properly cleared out....etc Nice legacy. My daily is a Facelift 3.0R Spec B 6speed.

  10. There is a very big difference between a modern ZF 7/8speed autobox or dual clutch automatic and a late 80's autobox. Todays auto's are far more intutive, with seamless instant changes that actually make the cars quicker, feel far more directrly connected to the wheels and usually come with Paddle shifters for more manual control. The Z autobox is a lot slower to change gear, doesnt always pick the right gear at the right time, suffers with a lot of torque convertor slip and is a lot weaker/less reliable than its manual counterpart. Besides that, the Auto equipped Z32 makes less power due to Turbo and exhaust camshaft differences in an attempt to claw back some response. It then transfers less of that power to the ground due to the lower transmission efficiency.

  12. Despite a few health scares as of late, his passing was still a massive shock to everyone at Williams. Today we left our condolences for him. I will always treasure the memories I have of Frank. His constant presence around the Factory, the many times he would visit the design office late at night and make a joke about keeping the noise down. The way he would always smile and greet you as you rushed about your day or the many times he would be happy for you to stop for a casual chat. He was an idol for me growing up, his passion, enthusiasm and dedication to the sport was like no other, and it has been an absolute honor to know him. RIP Frank.

  14. ah, ofcourse its the VQ30DE but with some sort of hybrid VQ/VG intake manifold by the looks it it. Just spotted the comment about Direct injection too.
  15. Cant decide if thats lazy or genius. They must of had hood clearance issues, as thats a redesigned Plenum with the Throttle linkage relocated. Not sure why the Camgear covers were changed to what looks like cast aluminium though Rest of the car is hideous though,
