web hosting?
Kinda depends on the website language your site would be built in, really. Unix tends to me more reliable, and is ideal for php, and mySQL Database's Windows is ideal for Frontpage(eek!), asp, aspx and there are more third-party components available that will run on windows. Also ideally suited for Microsoft SQL Databases. If your just looking at a flat html site, then go for Unix, and only go for Windows if you intend to expand later with asp, aspx, MS SQL DB...or have to build the site with Frontpage.

zcentre Viper front bumper ?
Does anyone know the status of the Viper front bumper from Zcentre ?. I know Jaz had one fitted : http://www.inter-space.co.uk/viper1.jpg and since then a revised version has been deveoped http://www.inter-space.co.uk/viper2.jpg But I don't see it on their website, or have heard anything since. There was also talk of revised headlights to incorporate the indicators ? Has anyone else fitted the Viper bumper, either the early version or the 2nd version ? Pics ? Price details ? Thanks

Keeping The Zed..........
I hate that sort of prejudice towards the GTS. Just because its not a GTR does'nt mean is must be pants.... 2.5 V6, 250bhp, rear wheel drive, hicas , Turbo. 0-60 6.2 secs Top speed - 165mph+ (that would be quicker than a S14 then) The GTR is better, yes(IMO), but you dont need to rev the GTS engine as much and many prefer RWD over 4WD. Its a fine car in its own right. The fastest GTS in Australia reeled off a best ET of 10.62 at 127 mph.

Keeping The Zed..........
Its a nice looking example, with a top aftermarket spec, your right not to take less then u want, its worth it.

How does a JWT chip affect insurance?
It would not matter if its chipped before you got it, or by yourself, and indeed wether you knew about it or not, its your reponsibility to know if its been modified in anyway and to declare it. Thats the Insurance companies view anyway. The last point being a little unfair, as its not very easy for you average owner to tell and especialy with imports the exact details on modifications can be sketchy.

Tomtom Navigator
I've used the Standard BMW Satnav system from a E39 5 series, it worked fine, but lacked all the extra features that is available with TomTom and showed no performance advantages. Bigger screen was an advantage, and its position was better for screen glare compared to where I have mine positioned, but the software itself was behind what TomTom and 3rd party components offer. I guess it depends on the performance of the PDA(400mhz and 64mb+ is ideal), but I find recalculation instant(1-2 seconds for most diverts) and the only time I've ever lost signal is when stopped in traffic beneath a bridge or in tunnels, and It finds the signal instantly after. Personally I believe an Ideal solution would be a fully installed satnav system running TomTom, but at less than 1/3 of the cost of an OE Fitment system Im more than pleased with it.

How does a JWT chip affect insurance?
I'd be suprised if they checked if a car is chipped, but its possible...although Im not sure how easy it is to tell, for an insurance investigator not experienced with that particular car. I've had two previous cars written off by Insurance (one my fault, one third party fault). Both cars had Exhaust, Induction and Alloy upgrades, neither declared... :slap: ...I was really worried when they came to view the car...but they never said anything and paid out fully. Although I would always reccomend declaring modifications such as those, I may have just been lucky. :nono: :x:

Tomtom Navigator
I use TomTom on a Pocket PC in the car, fantasic piece of kit...and from what I have read it out performs the OE Manufacture Fitment Satnav systems. You have some great add-ons for it too. POI Databases - Point of Interest databases. Download and update them from internet, allows you to find your nearest Petrol Station, Cashmachine, Adult Toys shop....etc Speed Camera Database - Gives advanced warnng of approaching GATSO speed camera's. Updates downloaded from Internet. Traffic announcements - new feature. Requires annual subscripton. Not tried this yet. Supposed to intregrate fully with TomTom and provide onscreen traffic problem announcements on route and offer alternative routes..etc Other nice features I like are accurate vehicle speed tracked by sattelite, integreated compass, ability to see the road layout ahead when travelling down twisty country roads, time to destination, day and night mode and the 3D view is superb. I love gadgets :p , I gets plugged in everytime I get in the car...I'll never get lost driving to the local corner shop ever again

best ecu?
The U.S measure their fuel differently and their 93 octane is actually 97 RON, they lower grade standard fuel is called 91 octane, which is same as our 95 RON. Its measued as AKI or PON. all very confusing
