What a brilliant day and great weather too. I was really chuffed with my first time on the track - well I didn't crash anyway, which was a bonus !! :D Nice to meet some more members as well as some of the "old" ones. Thanks to MadMarco for the loan of the crash helmet :bow: The parade was absolutely amazing - 167 zeds on the track, which apparently is a new Silverstone record :hyper: :hyper: Many thanks to the organizers: Steve Burns and Fuggles and everyone else who was behind the scenes. It was great to part of such a memorable celebration of Zeds !! :bow:

A few q's: Do I need the paper section as well as the card license ? Do you have any idea of cost of the accident insurance ? The info that came with the tickets says "all drivers must wear crash helmets before being permitted on the track. Helmets are not provided by Silverstone Circuits" - are the club supplying helmets ? I have dealt with Martyn on many occasions and have found that he always goes out of his way to accomodate me. I know he has had a lot of work on - quite a bit of it seems to be clearing up other's mistakes. I also know he has had problems in getting some parts. I would agree with what Coldeyes said about delays are more than likely being out of his control.

Why not do it at Silverstone as part of the Z parade ?

I would have to agree ! ;) Some of the higher level or "square" spoilers can ruin the look of the car.

I rebuilt the calipers, fitted new discs, pads, stainless steel braided lines and fluid and it did help the braking, but as has already been said the Zed is very heavy so ultimately needs a bigger set up to improve the braking. There was someone on here who fitted Evo Brembos with a bit of modification.

What are your preferred pads and why ?
