So, what i want to know is, just how do you explain the black and white plates, because i think they look awesome and wish we would go back to them.

How long has it been sitting for? reason i say it looks like condensation is its from both pipes and dissipates rather quickly. When i had water in my exhaust from condensation, the only way for me to get it out was to drill holes in the back boxes and empty (wouldn't advise this unless your changing exhaust and don't care about the old one) but i empty 1.5 litres of water between both back boxes, but then the car had been stood for around 5 years. A sniffer test, tests the radiator water to see if the head gasket is leaking. One thing i did notice though, was the amount of smoke never changed when she revved it. this would indecate to me that its condensation. have you tried smelling it? does it smell of burnt oil, normal car fumes or has a sweet smell to it?

if your revving the ass off it like that, id be inclined to get a sniffer test done. but still looks like condensation to me.

Some don't look good in the uniform but the one today, i have to say i was quite flirtatious with, im sure the male officer was trying "hurry" the check along so i would stop drooling over her LOL

Could of been a lot worse, i was a bit shocked when they said i wasn't insured as i had my kids with me lol But CAR IS BACK ON THE ROAD, and my god does it grip.

Just been over Northampton, noticed as i was getting closer to my destination a BMW police car had taken a keen interest in my motor. So just as i pull up out side the tyre shop, as i figured, lights came on, siren went off. anyway, pulled over, only for the copper to turn around and say "you got no insurance, my ANPR just gave me a right head ache" Looking stunned my only reply was "strange, wasn't long ago i got the documents through, and its just been through its MOT and ive got fresh tax on it?" So anyway, he went off to his car after getting the details of my insurer (lynbrook) and then came back saying... "sorry but at present your not insured on that vehicle, did you check the details when you got them?" so i said "nope sorry had way too much going through my head with a recent split from the mrs" Anyway turns out that i was insured, but the insurance company had mistyped the last letter of my number plate. in effect making it as though i didnt have cover. they rectify it there and then on the system, and let me on my way. god damn it lol Not lynbrooks fault, it was mine for failing to check the documents properly. but all is good now, tyre fixed with a Goodyear eagle f1 on the back, 5mm of tread all for a nice sum of £25 :D so im happy again now, i can drive the car

Sorry for the loss mate, but grats on the sale. kinda seems false saying that lol But on a more serious note. stop the alcohol at a time of need mate, it might make it seem like its having a "uplifting" effect. but alcohol is a depressant and things can spiral out of control faster than you think when your already in a bad situation. clam the alcohol and start enjoying life like your a teenager again (i don't mean going out and getting an asbo lol) But yeah, i know what you mean about watching someone else drive off in your car. even though it was only the MOT tester for me when he did the open road brake test. i still stood there like a meerkat and watching like a hawk to see where he was going with it lol (but she did look lush driving along, first time ive seen someone drive my own zed since owning it so got to see it from a bystanders point)

you should have the cable that goes into the aerial hole. but you might find there are two. (there is a AM aerial that runs around the back window) and the one for FM, so try both, if still no joy, you will have to remove the drivers side rear plastic boot lining. and check to see if the aerial its self is actually wired up at the aerial :blink: lol

i suppose tomorrow ill be dragging the kids down to the car and get a step by step guide on this. but its pretty simple Pram in the passenger seat. wife on the back seats, and babies in the boot. LOL joking, pram buggy what ever in the boot, car seat in the rear, behind the passenger seat and have the passenger seat all the way forward.
