Could somebody please tell me if there are any other cars that have the same wheel fitment as the z as i need to find something like an old set of steels or just some cheap munched alloys to put on my broken z when they take it away coz theres no way im lettin the alloys go! Sorry to sound silly but what is an underdrive pulley and what difference would a koyo radiator make. New filter should be on the car in the next few days but im a bit scared about exchanging the exhaust. Have blitz one on the smashed car!

Hey guys Here goes... I have one dead z (k plate) and one lovely z courtesy of Jaffa (g plate). I've swapped various parts over from my smashed z, the main ones so far being the ECU and Bleed valves. The car feels really strong but it will not boost over 11-12 psi and thats with the bleed valves nearly totally open. I was running 13-14 psi on my old one. I still have the standard air filters and exhaust on at the mo Any ideas? Also, i've taken the dash out of my old one so i can get the speed converter and its a little box with 4 wires coming out of it. Simple enough to wire up but my speedo used to cut out around 120mph. Could it be this box doing this? The next parts to come off my old one are the kyb adjustable suspension. Is it easy to remove it as they were there when i got the car? I am also going to swap the interior and the passenger seat in my dead one is electrically adjustable whereas it isnt in the one i have now. Is the wiring there or is there some way of linking the wiring from the drivers seat. Lastly, I have about £4000 to play with and as im off to brands hatch in april against my mate in a very quick scooby i want my engine chucking out as much safe power as possible to rub it in his face :tongue: Where should i go and what should i do??? Help for these questions would be, as always, most appreciated and im sorry if these are silly questions but im still relatively new to the zx modding scene. Many thanks BensJammin

Thanks guys. My wheels look the same as your ones suffolkzx and they have really slim recess holes. It does look like i could fit a 12mm allen key in the nut so where would i get one of those from?

It does everything short of making a cup of tea!! I have the 2003 version with all the updates and when i first ran it i was told that there were 2196 threats/viruses on my computer. Its completely clean now!! If i could work out how to send it to you i would?!

Hey guys. Got some sparco wheels on my z and the nuts seem to need some sort of big allen key to get them off coz a socket wont go over them. Is this normal on a z coz ive never seen this before and i dont want to seem stupid but i want to know how to get my wheels off? :confused:

Have you tried booting the computer in safe mode and running the spyware killers? The spyware cant re-install itself in safe mode

That is what i would really like to do but i am having trouble finding another like for like. I need a jap manual TT and most of the ones for sale are either auto or non turbo. Also, if I did get another and it was standard would i be able to take the chipped ecu out of mine and put it in the new one? Thanks BensJammin

Hey guys. My zx recently decided to take a very close look at the back of a PT Cruiser at 50mph (brake pedal went straight to the floor) and there is now some extensive damage to the front of the car. Would it be better for me to try and repair it (not sure if chassis is bent yet) or to find a good lookin non-turbo with a knackered engine and get the conversion done. The engine I had in my car had only been in there a couple of months and still runs now but the rad is jammed against the fan so im just leaving it alone for now till i know what 2 do. Is it fust a straight engine bay swap or does the gearbox and clutch etc have to be done aswell. Any help would be most appreciated and I know how good you guys are!! :bow: Thanks Bensjammin

Could somebody please tell me if it is possible to run 2 boost gauges? I have a blitz electronic gauge that measures in kg/cm or bar which is running from a t-piece in the pipe off the balance bar. I want to run a digital gauge as well that measures psi and i was wondering if whether putting another t-piece in the pipe and running it off that would give me correct readings. Any help would be much appreciated!

Somebody please help me. :confused: I cant work out why my car is running 5psi. I have checked the ecu and it said that the detonation sensor was playing up so i've cleaned it and i got a code 55 (all clear). Took my car out and still had 5psi. Checked the ecu and still code 55. I had the car in a garage recently and the mechanic said the turbos were fine so I'm stumped. Please help me!!!! :(

I have a jap tt and a mate of mine suggested that I fit boost jets. When I looked properly at the boost lines there is a solenoid for an apexi boost controller fitted but the control unit is not there. Does anyone know where I can get the rest of the controller cos the whole unit costs about £300-£400 and I dont really want to splash that out? Thanks
