  1. As above you could get a nice TT for that money. Especially if you sell the NA. Or just have a look at peoples rides section on here and get some inspiration. If i had cash to spend: 99 spec front bumper (£600) skirts and rear from CarMad (not sure but about £300 - £400 i think) new leather retrim (£500) nice leather seats (£250) Chip (Zedworld bout £100) Exhaust (£150 second hand £500 new) Induction kit (£100) and a nice new paint job ( £1000 - £2000) But that does seem a lot to spend on upgrades. Like i said you could get a really nice newer TT model with the sorts of money you are talking about. ps: Welcome to the club :thumbup1:
  2. :duffer:Happy Birthday :duffer:
  3. Not sure if i got what you meant, but if it's a rattling window that has come away from door support, I don't know if you can do it without taking the door card off, but this might help. P
  4. Well took her for a spin, no smoke when driving, or boosting, or on idle. So prob just me revving too hard.
  5. Hmmm, well i just sorted my dodgy HIDs and then noticed that the left exhaust is smoking slightly. I mean really slightly on idle, hardly noticable, but when revved a bit... hey presto white smoke!!! The smoke dissapates when you take your foot off. what do you think? Turbo seals? or PCV Valves? or have i just got some unburnt fuel in the system as i was revving quite hard to show off my new exhaust to my mate? :blushing: I guess i will give it a bit of a run and see how she goes.
  6. Woo hoo, swapped the ballasts round and now they both work fine. Thanks for all the halp chaps. Shame that when i was messing around with it outside, showing a mate my new bits, that i noticed some white smoke coming from my left exhaust. Turbo seals???
  7. nice, another good tip from Mr Cowell.
  8. Thank god mine didn't know this was on. :gun_bandana: or else i'd have been subjected to it.

  12. candles would be better than what comes as standard, i dunno about more powerful bulbs, i bought some for my scirocco but couldn't notice the difference really
  13. Yeah, no excuse here really, just don't sleep a lot really, and i don't start till lunchtime so my internal clock is always about 6 hrs out of sync. Cheers for the advice guys, gives me some hope to take to bed, at least i now have a few things to try tomorrow. Laters P
  14. Issys, I just checked out your ride.... Sweeet bumper mate, not seen anything like it.
  15. Cheers isyss, i will have a go tomorrow and keep you posted. how come your up so late anyway?
  16. Still up Graham... your as bad as me mate... bloody insomniacs eh. i think i will give all the prongs/wires a bit of a pinch first, then a bit of a wiggle. If i have no joy i'll swap the ballasts over and see if that does the job. I'll have a bit of a prod with the volt meter, then probably end up taking it to see someone. :blushing:
  17. Well, funnily enough as i reversed out of the driveway this morning, i saw, what i assume is a volt meter lying on my back seats..... Jeff or Jamie must have left it there... bit of a result really considering your advice. :thumbup1: What sort of current should be running through the ballast? I'll give it a go tomorrow. If the ballast is buggered can it be replaced with any? or am i going to have to deal with customer services in Hong Kong? :gun_bandana:...
  18. It is clear white, and when it does flash on, it is the same colour as the other.
  19. Yeah, i bought these from ebay, and Jeff fitted them for me, they were working yesterday when i was there, but haven't had to use them till tonight. When i switch on and off the dodgy one comes on then off again. Annoying really.
  20. I just had an HID kit fitted by Zedworld yesterday, and i noticed this evening that only one side is working... When i remove and replace the wires in the connection points on the one not working, it comes on for a brief second then off again. Same with when i switch the lights off and on, it comes on for a brief instant and then goes out again. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
  21. yeah, keep them same as the rest of the car. IMO
  22. :duffer:Happy Birthday :duffer:
  23. Not like this one. :euro: or the jag, i'd have either. What a nice problem to have.... Porsche? Lambo? Aston? You lucky fooker. I look forward to some pics
