  1. You might try Norton Insurance, I recently took out insurance with them for my Zed, and although it's not on a classic policy (as the cars is not old enough yet) it has the option to have an agreed value which I haven't taken up yet as I still got to take the pictures and send them to Norton. 2. Guys I need to find 2 power supplies under the bonnet. (nearer the main fuse box the better) 1 of them needs to be a permanent live the other live when the ignition is swicthed on. (not straight from the battery as i don't won't any untidy cables down the side of the plenum, or going through the bulk head to the other fuse board/ignition switch) When I get his done I will finally have my led DRL's sorted! Oh yeah will post pics as well when completed :) thanks H

  4. The seal/s are just Sikaflex/Tigerseal silicone if you remove your headlights as others have suggested you then need to heat up the silicone remove the lense and then apply alittle more Sikaflex between the two surfaces then re-attach the lense. H

  10. Used my horn (in anger today for the first time:smash:) and must agree what a $h^t sound they make. If Funkysi is right I can quite believe they come from Datsun Cherry! another item to go on the list. H
  11. you don't need to buy anything assuming you can pinch your gf hairdryer, just gently warm the film and it should start to peel off. Just be carfull of the the elements on the rear screen. If you are left with any adhesive residue just use Meths or White spirit to remove that. H
  12. Ok, guys Devils Punch Bowl it is: Sunday 22/29 November any good for everyone or would the majority rather it was a weekday?

  15. Agrea with the rest, it looks like a great car! Before buying the Zed I looked at buying an 928 S4 and test drove a few. They are epic cars with fantastic build quality and reliability although they handle well for a big GT cruiser I wanted something a little more nimble on the twisty's. The biggest bone of contention for me was the price of the spares, a number of owners mentioned that if you go into 928 ownership you should buy a second one to use for spares. Anyway happy with Zed just as iconic IMO, and will become more of a classic GT in the years to come. H
  16. jmwuk, I will post a few venues up over the weekend, in the Southampton area. Come guys any one else interested? H
  17. Would love a set of these, but not at that price though H http://www.restorationramps.co.uk/phdi/p1.nsf/supppages/ramps?opendocument&part=3
  18. Guys, have removed all 3 nuts, on the unit how easy is it to disconnet the relays and is it possible to un-plug the unit from hte wiring harness? cheers H
  19. Can't quite make out which wire due to the picture being so dark. I fyou take another one with better light I am more than happy to look on my car and see if I can help. H
  20. Ok, is it possible to remove the fuse/relay panel totally from hte car? i.e does it unplug from the under side? the relays is it just a case of a flat bladed screw drive on hte tab down the side of the realy and the pull? H
  21. Sounds like good advice, will give that a go when I get some contact cleaner. H
  22. Cheers santa, twist the screwdriver did the trick, now if only I can get the last bolt off that holds the relays/fuse unit to the inside of the wing I'd be done. H and retreive my socket that dropped down into the mass of hoses etc.
