I have now found two in the same street in Holbury! Both grey as well.

I have a Blitz IBC Colour Boost Controller, however it needs some sort of extra's to make full use of its abilities, a harness I assume so it can measure oil pressure, temp blah blah blah. Anyone know where I can get one and how much are they? Chris@Greddy, I assume you may know?

The arches do look like balsa wood, maybe they are building a rear arch mould ready to fibreglass? The colour scheme though reminds of the VW Polo that was once available, just needs a yellow and a green panel somewhere!

Quite right Pete, what you have to remember is, how did that burglar get to your house? Sure as hell they don't walk there! Nearly every criminal nowadays relies on some form of transport. If they didn't need transport they wouldn't steal cars! People need to see the bigger picture. If you are genuine and law abiding what problem is there being stopped by the police if you have done something wrong even if it's a traffic offence. "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime." If you want drive with fog lights go ahead, but accept the possibility that if you get stopped you might get fined!

There are only two reasons for the placing of speed camera's 1 - Accident blackspot 2 - Excessive speeding in vicinity Not a question of revenue generation, a mandate by6 government to reduce fatal accidents and increase road safety. Apparently a fatal road traffic accident costs £1,000,000 to investigate, minimum. Now is it a wonder that there are speed camera's etc...?

I've found if I don't do anything wrong I don't get stopped! Furthermore they don't have monthly targets for issuing tickets and don't see a penny of any fine issued.

4x4 or pickup? New or used? 4x4, diesel I assume? I would go for a Shogun for looks, Disco for go anywhere. Pickups, I here the Mitsi Warrior is the most underpowered in its class, but then there is a new model imminent, don't know what that will be like. I believe the Nissan pickup is the best one at the mo IMHO

Ultimately if you don't remove them at the scene (the side window ones) because they are too dark you could get served a prohibition notice and that means either getting the car recovered or leaving where it is until you can get the prohibition lifted!
