  1. That is probably the best option although I tend to keep my jump leads in the boot of the Z!!!
  2. Fookers. I bet they are drug dealers as well. The value of life?
  3. What you have to watch for is if they are strong enough as the Z door is heavy.
  4. Apparently Gaz you can get a hidden release but again I haven't asked too many questions yet.
  5. This guy seemed totally genuine. He said it was a 93 UK Manual. I think the guy in Stroud may have been trying it on?
  6. I haven't researched them properly yet but alarm fitters would probably be able to do them.
  7. Fortunately I have remote locking and the surround may be suitable to get pushed back in without too many problems. Fingers crossed.
  8. I have considered that but you just can't win. At least where I normally park it, it seems to be a lot safer. I would say they have had their eye on it for a while as it hasn't moved for some time. I know they weren't trying to steal it as it was parked with a tree in front of it an mom's Scooby to it's side. There was no way they would have got it off the drive.
  9. He lives in Brierley Hill. I didn't see his car but he sounded genuine, knew this site but is a member of ZClub. He has it in heated garage and it is totally OEM.
  10. It might be time to price up door poppers and have it delocked!
  11. It's not normally left for long at mom's just waiting to go to garage for new tub's. What I don't understand is that it is so obviously alarmed as the interior flashes blue and the whole car lights up at night due to freezing over. I wouldn't mind but my stereo would be lucky to fetch £30 second hand!
  12. I have travelled 300 miles today and not seen one single Z! However while messing with my car A guy pulled up got out his van and started chatting about the Z. Real friendly guy, it then turns out he is the owner of the white Z they used on Top Gear to compare to the 350Z a couple of years back.
  13. Due t the fact that my turbo has gone on the drivers side and it puffs out enough smoke to cause a severe fog weather warning my Z has been left at my mom's house in The Midlands for a couple of weeks. I've popped up today to remove the interior panels only to find that some fooker has tried to screw my drivers door lock! Fortunately they did not get in and I think the dog's disturbed then but none the less they have knackered the lock and pulled the door handle surround out about 10mm.

If you can afford for the turbo's to go then go the whole hog and de-cat. I will add though that I had a suspicion my tub's were weak as they whistled slightly even before the exhaust and boost controller.

I would also like to know this answer. PK1 - there is a risk of your turbo's going so I didn't risk the de-cat but depends on how confident you are with your tubs! My tub's have now failed anyway as a result of increased boost I believe so now I'm going to get her de-catted.
  17. Sounds like the exhaust maybe?
  18. Dip them in tar and feathers!
  19. Shoot them!
  20. I think the wheels look too American Hotrod, the rear flair and side sills are a little too square and give it an 80's look. The front bumper doesn't sit right but the lights bring the front up to date. Overall I don't like it though.
  21. The seller uses American terminology "fenders", claimed to be from the Isle Of Man, auction on US site, no Paypal. I will ask a question about collection!
  22. I found that it was not good for a sensitive ring after a good curry! Otherwise very refresshing product.
  23. All I was told was that the Mitsi, although possessing greater bhp, did not accelerate and perform as well as others.
