i use mine every day... for work i do 180 miles a week plus my normal running around here and there.. we have the golf 1.8T that is our "family car" that my missus loves and uses everyday... i used to do the whole 2 car thing but found cos we had the family car i never used my toy and just sat there... its only car so i use it every day as it should be

i know it jumped off the car over the weekend.. amazing... i am gonna see if i can get a rear skirt that can be made to look liek it should only have the one.. if that makes sense

at first i read that as it cost me half a tank to do 200 miles.. i was astonished that spec list looks fab good work will be a monster when all mapped up

i might well have a blueflame for sale if groover does not get back to me.. defo not loud sounds great... not sure how loud standard so not sure ont eh difference...

your car will accelerate a lot fast.... :) it wil make a massive difference and will be worth it....

just like to share that i had a great day out in the zed today.. met up with a load of old mr2 mates for a run that i have organisedevery year for the past 8 years.. i do not think i have ever run it in a mr2... anyway gt up gave the zed a nice clean and polish. met up with guys/gals and took photos.. i was 4 up in the zed me, lil d, me wife kels and her friend jackie.. and my zed did me proud a whole afternoon of being cained around and it was perfect only smoked a couple of times.. autobox went a bit funny when close to end of the run.. manily due to getting too hot i think and it was nearly all b roads. on the way home when it cooled down it was fine again.. i got great respect from the mr2's they could not believe the road prescence how well it shifted and were surprised how well it handled... it did not rain which was a big bonus come home ride out on the bike and now playing xbox.... what a great day.. some pics.. and i am loving me zed

yep went and picked up HKS exhaust today from buz many many thanks buddy and great to meet ya and thanks for the tea :duffer: anyway got home had some food and set about fitted the new exhaust.. yesterday (friday) i had stripped off the old exhaust and cat pipes took to work and gutted the cats.. the blue flame exhaust that was on my car i like the quads but its not the look i want from the car in the long run.. i should still be getting singles on both sides... but anyways fitted the cat pipes back on.. easier to come off than to go back on... then started fitting the new back on.. my last exhaust was completly seperate each bank this one joins the single exit out of the drivers side.. i was so please on how well everything matched up.. every bolt hole and exhaust hanger were perfect no modification needed at all.. could tell how well made it was too fitted all up and took for a run.. and what a noise.. you can defo tell its a HKS.. sounds fab:dance: and not too noisy either just about right i would say... i can live it being single exit but will put a new rear skirt on it and when it get put on make it look like it should havea single there unless the right twin that sounds as good turns up... but i doubt it.... its really does sound brilliant well pleased and another big big bonus is that it does not smoke any where near as bad as it did before.... anyway here is a quick pic.. i will get a better one 2morrow.. been too busy driving it its defo not restricting it at all cos of the size of the pipe is the same as both of the blue flames put together :rofl: i love it. worth going single just for the noise it makes and the throttle is so much more responsive now the cats are not there too cheers for peeps helps in my questions before... especially Si hoping to see groover on monday as he wants my blue flame and iam gonna have his japspeed... see which i prefer it think.. but will prob be the HKS.. if groover does not want my blue flame. any one interested??

guessing the early ones did not have cat sensors or anyhting on the car pipes as no sensor on my middle pipes :)

i see what you mean..... well i can save spending out i will so will most likey at work today cut out the cat and weld in a new pipe the same size :) (i am engineer in a workshop) so one of the welders will weld it up for me free of charge just thinking saves me 100 quid i not gotta spend out one leaves more for other things :):duffer:

AIV's??? nope not taking them out as not know what they are.... so will re connect them when i put the exhaust back on and i agree i think the twins give it a better look from the rear so will prob put them on next week :) just did not knwo how good the jap speed ones are in comparisson to the HKS many thanks si or ya help.. pete

i know but for now as paying out to do the turbo's i am just gonna decat my pipes for now... and i if i do it i don't hav to pay somene else to punch them out :) and yeah i think you are right dave at 75 pound..

yeah like i say... getting them changed it 2 weeks so if it make them bad ill just sit it.. but saves me money not havin to pay the garage to do that job as well... then il take it up for them to do the turbos :)
